Are you at liberty to contrast and compare Perfect Golf and TGC?  Can you further define "very soon."   Any insight is much appreciated.

Foresight sports the makers of the GC2 do not want to provide an integration for Perfect Golf and as such we will not be able to officially provide an integration to the GC2.  We offer a generic integration with Perfect Golf through TCP IP.  There are some third party tools that are being created which may allow the GC2 to connect to Perfect Golf through this Generic TCP IP integration.  These cannot be supported directly by Perfect Parallel and may cease to work if Foresight change their firmware.

Which is why questions on this should be directed to the appropriate forum.  We apologise we cannot be more supportive of GC2 owners but this is the decision of Foresight Sports.

On the other hand we will be releasing official integrations with SkyTrak, Trackman 3 and Trackman 4 and possibly with Pro Tee.

No offence torreypines, but I don't think it's the right approach to ask either software vendor to compare and contrast their product against the other.  There will obviously be a significant bias in the response by nature - to be expected and not a fault of the vendor.  I think you need to review postings by users on both forums and review both websites, etc. to draw your own conclusions.

Andrew - have any final decisions been made on how the software will be priced for simulator users?  Knowing TGC is $995, can you let us know how PG will compare?

Andrew,
Thanks for the clarification. I am happy to hear that simulator support will be available soon.
It's unfortunate that Foresight fails to see the advantage in being more cooperative, but it's their loss.

No offence taken. I am not familiar with the association between forum members and products they represent.  Members on this forum also express their opinion on other forums (i.e.Ottawa Golf, Golf Simulator Forum); thus I  assumed there was not a bias.  Consequently the questions I ask are with the intent of an unbiased opionion.   Is there disclosure of conflict of interest among members.  If not, it may be frutiful in assessing one's response.

I'm gonna guess $199 per year.  At that price, with support for SkyTrak and with a release before TGC's Skytrak release and PG will take 90% early market share.  That will allow them get the critical mass that will be so important in this small market.

Multiplayer test worked great.  Shots are launching at nearly the same time for both players.  You can see in this video that side hill lies affect the launch of the ball.   This is almost as good as the real thing.....Just amazing! :)

Very cool. What happened on the opening tee shot that caused it to go 134 yards? Are the other 185-230 yd carry yardages close to your real game?

Yup. :)

If you look closely in the little web cam window, you can kinda see how high that ball launched.

It seems to be published now.   $249/year subscription which isn't bad compared to TGC's yearly subscription....but too expensive for me.   More importantly there doesn't seem to be an OUTRIGHT BUY OPTION!!!   So nothing that compares to TGC's outright buy at $995.   If all this is true then  my interest in PG has just dropped to zero...very disappointing.
