Just curious, where did you pull the 1m data from?

https://coast.noaa.g.../geoid12a/data/
It's a complicated process using a paid version of Globalmapper to export the data. Took me many hours to extract so I'm not going to attempt to explain the steps. The site is full of great data for the US but you'll need a 3rd party GIS programme.

Gotcha.  Well good luck with the course design process!  I'd love to test this one on the simulator.

I can't wait for PG for Skytrak! Would love to play Augusta...best place on earth. Can I suggest someone make the par 3 course. Would love to play in the winter when I'm limited in the garage.

Keep up the good work everyone. I can't wait for the full release I would love to build a few courses for the world to enjoy.

No chance of me having Augusta ready before the Masters this year. I simply don't work that fast and besides I intend making it as good as it can be.

Augusta just purchased a parcel of land on

the neighboring Augusta County Club property.

They want to lengthen the 13th hole at Augusta

National and operate left of 11 and 12.

That piece of land inhabits the ACC

9th green. It cost them $27million for that one hole.

Personally I think the 13th is great at it is .... You almost must go for the green in two without loosing to the field ,,,, If you leghten the hole it will be a 3 shotter and everyone ( except maybe Bubba :) ) hit wedges in ,,,, boring ... If it says par 5 or 4 on the card ...doesnt matter.

Word has it that it's really about stopping the rubbernecking from ACG. ANGC wants total control over the course boundaries, especially at Masters time, but also for their members rounds.

Looking very nice, but imo needs to be more green,

Augusta is most likely the most lush and greenest course on tour.

The pines and needles look

just right, and the bridge carpeting looks spot on,

along with the nice azaleas.

Agree with NoPutt. The color scheme of Augusta has to be just right. The layout you've got going looks fantastic! It just needs to be a darker green. Less lime green.

Very impressive, slewin!  Will the course be called Augusta National in the PG version or will you be using a creative alternative name for the final course?

Hole 7 Pampas

I'm noticing floating branches around the top of the trees (like I did at Winged Foot).  Looking good beyond that and the need for more color.

Impressed you've made this much progress already; looks great! I guess that's the advantage of being able to import terrain data for elevation work?

Appreciate the hard work! :)
