  I use an Xbox 1 controller that has never hit straight at all. I play a round and get like 20 cheat messages while only shooting even on tour pro. Oh well, there are plenty of other good games to play and buy DLC from. Too bad this couldn't be one of them.

So this is how it works for mouse swing,if you have managed to master  the ratio we now have to contend with a penalty if you hit perfect plane.3 click players as i am now using can just get used to the meter and from a lot of youtube videos i can see 3 clickers hit the snap easily.SO 3 click players only have the snap to deal with , i admit i play 3 click also have done from many previous pc golf games .I have played all swings in this game and enjoy it .If you look at the stats leaderboards they are dominated by 3 click and RTC players.So this anti cheat has penalized mouse swing players thats fine i admit even on pro the ratio was getting easier to manage but that was through practice and time.I can see a lot of mouse swing players going back to playing 3 click as if you are not going to have to deal with a random misshits.Question? If a player masters the snap playing 3 click will there be an anticheat if they are consantly hitting the snap?I was enjoying this game have lots of hours on it .Just got my 1st tour win on the euro tour playing pro on OGT was thinking im really going to get into this game and donate to OGT been a while since my last one but maybe not seems like mouse players are getting pissed on so rant over .happy golfing golfers           i

My suggesting is to put things back to before AC (anti cheat) as this looks like it's getting out of hand here. As far as I'm concerned if people want to win by cheating then they have to live with themselves, I really don't care. If you took a vote (I know this is not a democracy) I bet a vast majority would agree. Anyway that's my thoughts on it. You guys are just frustrating more people.

I too fell into the trap back with TGC when my friends all wanted to play the online tournaments.  I told them its full of cheaters,  why cant we just set up our own "honest" tournaments and enjoy the competition between ourselves.  but, they were all hooked on the tgctours aspect.  so i became distant from their interests and even annoyed about it.   I enjoy this game with the tempo 4:1 rts-m because I like how the tempo adds the bit of realism to the swing.  its challenging and great fun...  my best round is a 78 from the members tees.  I play on pro and only allow myself the main camera.  (that other camera allows you to pinpoint your landing spot on the overview map).  I cant do something like that in real life so I don't do it when I play here. 

     anyway for my two cents,  thanks for the Muirfield building update and the new adjustments to the a.i. players. (snap and type of golfer ((aggressive or control)).   good additions.    and I do like playing online  for some friendly real life competition.   keep up the good work devs.  love the effort behind this game. if the jnpg devs found a way to curtail the cheating online, then great!!  remember you're always going to see a loud objection from the ones who do cheat claiming how the game is now ruined to try and get things switched back.  so keep that in mind.

   and for the record, the gameplay  and graphics blow tgc out of the water.  this is the most challenging and rewarding golf game ive ever played.  tgc has their work cut out for them gameplay wise to rise to the level of jnpg.   that being said,  jnpg also must  make it to console in order to sell well and gain a much larger following.

tour pro RTS-M  -15 anticheat so he cant user an edge or similar? \I find this score unreal must be a robot

Got proof? For some reason I don't believe you as I haven't heard of any other controller player having any issues.

The issue is motionswing players from other golf games was easy to hit straight compaired to 3 click.JNPG used a way to stop this make it fair.The motionswing players have now adapted to the ratio/swing its not easy takes time to adjust.So now the motion swing players have to adapt to another penalty i.e if they hit a straight plane for a few shots they are pinished with a duffer.I dont mind thats fair enough i guess iys just back to 3 click for me.Ahh well theres always the golf club 2 to look forward to

Another thing no way can a player play a round of 18 playing RTS-M tour pro - 15 without an aid or something else no way

I tried using F8 while playing to see if I was getting any anticheat stuff but since the keyboard is disabled for controller players I couldn't use this function.

We're you accessing a log file to get these messages or is there another way?

I'd be willing to bet he's getting those scores in a very legit way. He's just a great player.

I can use the keyboard while using the controller. I don't know what you are talking about it being "disabled." I am on a laptop, hook it to the TV so it is in dual monitor mode, and then have to press the function lock key before hitting f8. Not sure what you are talking about. 

 

In fact, I have been using chat on the game with the controller and keyboard since I started playing.

I don;t have an Xbox 1 to test.  Can you enable steam broadcasting and let me watch you hit shots on the range?  So I can see whats going on.

No need to insult those of us who 3-click. I have better things to do* than spend hours every day practicing a swing my carpel tunnel will never let me perfect. And if I did perfect it I would be labeled as a cheater anyhow, right?

Might be easier for me to put it on twitch. Let me know when you want to try. I don't know if it happens at the range though. I hit a few there after the craziness yesterday and never had the cheat come up, but the cheat was coming up after hole 6 during rounds so I don't know if I hit enough at the range to activate it. I just played another 9 with another xbox 1 controller and had the same exact results. I am not a cheater. I don't even come close to winning OGT tournies and play in TP. It isn't like I am some jagbag trying to win by cheating. If I was, I wouldn't be wasting my time by shooting E - +5 every round on TP.

Not accusing.  Just want to understand what is happening so we can tweak the anti cheat accordingly.  I'll add you to my friends list on steam and shoot you a message in a few mins.  Make sure broadcast is enabled in steam settings.  Can you go into the game lobby now?
