First of all: About half of those tournaments were played before the patch that made the long game harder for MS. And before i switched to RTS-M.

 

Since i am playing RTS-M i won exactly 1 tournament. And it was a tournament on the RTS Tour. On the PGA Tour i haven't won since the switch to RTS-M.

 

It isn't forbidden to be a good player. And not every good player is cheating. I play fair and square.

Yeah, i was lucky. One was a drive and one was a 6-iron. I think i used the shot shaper max to the left on both shots. Maybe that helps the devs to find the reason. The ball shot to the left with a little lower ball flight and with an extreme spin/curve.

Frank70 i wasn't accusing you of anything, i was just saying using a controller everyone should have the same swing, with a mouse 20 people could be playing with a mouse and all have it set up differently? you have a lot more flexibility to make the game play how you like it, with a joy pad you don't THAT'S ALL.

Please stop comparing one gameplay type to another, it basically achieves nothing and only annoys the people who choose to use that particular game type. We do our best to make sure the different swing types are as level as possible but we know full well people will never agree on this.

Why does this always have to be an argument over swing type? Why can't we just enjoy playing the game and forget about what everybody is using for their swing type. One suggestion is to eliminate what swing people are using from all leaderboards and then there will be nothing to argue about as nobody will know and maybe the bickering will stop. Again I use all of them from time to time and will play against any as it is a game people.

It's just because everyone is only looking at other players scores instead of focussing on their own gameplay and scoring. I never look at others results. If I play a -2 and think I played well then I don't look at the other results. I couldn't care less

If Jordan Speith makes X number of good shots in a row in a tournament the PGA doesn't go "whoa you must be doing something, here's a 1-stroke penalty" but that's what that patch with "anti-cheating" essentially does by throwing in a deliberate mis-hit.

Putting still seems messed up with new patch today. With the last 2 patches, backstroke seems too powerful, forward stroke power is vastly reduced. Others have posted about wiffing a putt now, I notice that I really have to move the forward stroke with some force to even get the ball to move.

Why does every "improvement" break other things? Time to get some of the original programmers back to fix up this code.

are you serious lol.the developer's obviously know it's nigh on impossible to hit 3 zero planes in a row without using aids

Did I not say stay strong, may as well remove this altogether, completely almost does nothing now. I hope for an anti cheat 3.0.

1.0 at least there was a balloon shot after a few hits, now nothing, well a slight turn after a bunch, big whoop.

You need stop listening to these guys who state how good they are and that they can zero axis their equipment through practice. Its complete BS. Only way that is even possible is with manipulated or faulty equipment. 1 pixel is a very very small amount over the complete travel of whatever the controller. 

IMHO, You need balloon the ball so deep into the weeds they would need a machete on each and every complete zero axis shot.

I too find that the forward motion with the putter has been reduced. Any reason why?

My thoughts on this patch. I am a motion swinger and have been since day 2 (actually played day 1 as 3c). For the majority of that time I have played on Pro level. I very rarely go past 100% power and normally have a good idea of how the ball will react after I have made my swing (good or bad). Now it seems like I am getting random hooks/fades, both on shots below and past 100%

Is this indicative of the anti cheat mechanism?

I use a logitech g502 mouse, and the only thing I have ever done to it is to lower the dpi settings to accomodate a tempo of swing that suits me. I do not (and never will) consider this as cheating. These features are also adjustable both in the windows mouse settings, and more importantly in the mouse sensitivity settings within the game itself.

If this is classed as cheating, then I am out of this game. I have played this game almost on a daily basis since early access release, and have worked hard to create a swing that holds up quite well when I play my buddies and/or tournaments (they may say otherwise lol). I will not suffer random shots because of the paranoia surrounding the game.

So what are your plans now? or are you demanding PP to make your swing better again?, if you really want to see some randomness try to use the controller ATM ROFL
