Do we know, when you play a recorded round do we get the same wind as the guy who recorded it? speed/direction/gusts?

No.  The devs weren't able to program this in.

You would get the same wind setting - calm, breezy, gusty, windy -  but no guarantee that the direction would be the same.  Speed and gusts would vary as they would irl as they are calculated in real time.

I considered this earlier Pro 8. The solution for this exhibition would be to keep the winds Calm and possibly Breezy. The affect of the wind is minimal at Breezy. Plenty of time for you to reconsider.

I've opened a MEGA.nz account for everyone to upload or access the files to download recordings.

There is a recording of Kissing Tree in a folder for test purposes. It contains the .RND file plus a notepad with the score if you'd like to see it first. I played at Pro but it will allow 'ANY' level to compete against my round. The other settings are locked. (My hapless round is very beatable.)

Please let me know if there is a problem accessing the folder.

The link to the Login page is here...

You should be able to open the folder and download the .RND and score notepad (if you need it).

PLEASE REMEMBER TO 'LOGOUT ' AFTER YOU HAVE GOT THE FILES (under the "MENU" tab on the far top right) SO THAT OTHERS CAN ACCESS THE FILES.

I just want to clarify something.

This comp is open to any level and swing type. If you are a Hacker who can shoot around par for 18 holes then you can successfully compete against someone who would normally play TourPro and who shoots around par. If neither of those players minds playing against the other then it should be a keen and enjoyable round.

FRET but don't fret.  (When I used to ask an old friend how he was going he'd say, "I've put away my fret saw and picked up my coping saw.")

Ted,

Just played against your round - lots of fun. We seemed to miss shots in the same places. Our stats were very similar, except for the scrambling.

I uploaded to MEGA to see how this would work. Looking forward to this!

John

Excellent John. Thanks for testing that.

I'm going to play your round. I like that track.

Everyone else is welcome to throw a round onto MEGA for practice.

Cheers

Kissing Tree is the current "Offical" tournament for the Pro level, so I've practiced it alot - I think that was the difference in our scores.
