I have copied the following from a quote from Jerry's son from a post over at LinksCorner, where Jerry was a regular visitor due to his playing of Links 2003 and work with KISS Tours.
My father is quite ill. He was hospitalized December 15th due to sudden mental decline (confused, agitated). He then suffered heart failure December 17th and has been in a coma since. The outlook is not good.
I am in his home reviewing his emails and notice you contacted him recently. Please share this news with anyone else you believe would like to know.
I'm sure those that know him from LinksCorner, KISS Tours and more recently here, will spare a thought for our dear friend and his family at this sad time.

At Links Corner he was very helpful in getting our APCD courses ready for download, usually with short turnaround times. I appreciated his contributions to all these communities and like everyone, certainly wish for the best outcome.

He loved LINKS with a passion, and if not for him the
LINKS animations would have stayed as default. He
alone bargained to release editable animations for LINKS
to Animasters, and allowed me to be part of that team. He
would help anyone with anything and never failed to dig
until an answer was found.

One of the things that kept Links fresh for me was when I began to add in my own personal shirt and shoe collection, as well as my clubs in the game

I had a lot of contact with Jerry when I was designing for Links 2003.
Jerry would always go the extra mile to help, even if it meant occasionally bending a few rules.
One of the few people I sent a friend request to when I joined this site.
