Just in case the good doctor isn't aware Ctrl+Alt+U hides the user interface icons and allows for a nice clean screenshot suitable for use as my desktop background.

Is there a button combo for that on the controller by chance?

Hey Drrobmiller,
Aesthetically this course looks amazing, I've noticed you've used lots and lots of trees and bushes, what's the frame rate like? just concerned that on lower spec PC's your masterpiece may lag a bit?
Did you also make the bench and barrel in blender?

Seems to play fine ...and thats on my Mac
however, beginning stages , still alot of work needed
I would recommend a high end machine if you want to experience it all,
The 3d objects were purchased in the unity asset store

If you are doing all planting hole by hole, things could change dramatically when more holes have been planted, even with lod settings in place for rendering distant objects. It may be worth doing an experimental mass planting on the unplanted holes just to test if FPS, and lag are going to change significantly when more holes are finished. It would be a shame to get 12 holes in, only to find you have to rip up a lot of what you have already done.

good point, Ill blast out a mass plant.
but I think Ill be fine.
I have the course layed out where there is a central elevation that basically keeps max 5 holes in view. So all the plants on other holes are out of field of view, or in unity really no more than 3 million tris that gives a FPS hit.
but also, get a serious rig. But my iMac seems ok so far.

Plus, if you set billboard and culling properly, you don't need to worry about that too.

One thing that might help is to use the 2D trees and bushes for further distance trees..
