When will you have the pitch and flop shots in the game? Just started playing the game and loving it.

Thanks Jerry

Mr. Magoo that is great .. ya just wing it ...  One thing that can help you immensly is to go to solo mode put it on unlimited mulligans and figure out what club or clubs you like to use for flopping and pitching and write down distances things go .. But I think they fixed the rough and sand traps so you will have to make note of if you are hitting out of sand, rough, or fairway and then the height how far down in a bunker etc. then the slope of the green - WHICH WE STILL CAN'T SEE ALL OF ...

What do the green grid colors (green, yellow, red) indicate?

I think degree of slope. I just ignore them and use the rolling balls. However, now that we have a BLI, I'm trying to 'wean' away from the grid altogether.

I really like the concept of the motion swing but I just can't slide my mouse accurately enough. When I watched the video that Mike posted in the guide to using motion swing, watching the mouse pointer it seems straight up and down from the 6 o'clock to the 12 o'clock position. I went back to the range inspired by this but just could not move the mouse as pure straight. I might intersect the two critical points but because I would drift inbetween I was miss hitting too much. I am using a normal Logitech mouse.

Seriously watch the video and see how perfectly straight the mouse pointer moves, never mind the timing aspect. How is that achieved?

How bad was the miss hitting happening how bad was this affacting the shot ... as far as making the ball go straight so much of it has to do with tempo and not so much miss hitting unless the miss hitting is to much .....

I did buy a new mouse which I think significantly helps it is a death raddler mouse from some fancy mouse maker ... it enables me to change the mouse speed to exactly what I want plus I got a new mouse pad that assists in control. Unfortunatelly if you are not the pro that Mike is with a mouse you may need to get a newer mouse though Logitech make decent mice ... What if the motion swing tester was a total clutz with a mouse the settings would be such that us neanderthals could make good shots too but since Mike did the motion swing thing we are all ..... screwed ???

Question. How does a Mouse Pad help your control?

Its probably hype from the manufacture that dupes a customer like me but supposedly this mouse pad gives more control than to a typical mouse pad whatever that is ... This mouse pad is not super smooth it has tiny bumps all over it - so maybe the comparison could be moving a mouse over glass vs sandpaper and the sandpaper gives more control - meaning a more precise movement - no sliding ??? but maybe its just my imagination but it seems to work.

Well, it duped me too J.H.  Thanks for the link.

I had some credit at Amazon so I ordered it and will try it out.

Oh Good !!!   That is the perfect thing to do with extra Amazon money - same thing I do with it ... I get something that I would not normally buy something I may not actually need but rather want and kind of need. Irregardless it will look cool next to your pc like you actually know what you are doing and in the event someone asks you about it you can give them a pathetic look as to why you must explain it and why they don't have one.

Mine came rolled up in a box and was not even in a plastic bag - I of course emailed the company about this stating how an item of this expense and promised to be of superior quality state of the art would be simply rolled up and placed into a box and shipped out - also point out that initially it does not lie completely flat because it was rolled up. It's kind of like buying a brand new Cadillac with mud inside the passenger floor board. But anyway, they said thanks for the email ... the box does look very cool - I have no idea what I did with it though

Well, Thanks Again J.H.

The Mouse pad I am presejtly using is an OLD Access Software LinksLS 1999 one that I got years ago when visiting them in Salt Lake City.  It is a smoorh plastic top with some slight rough texture molded in to it. Maybe I had what I ordered already and didnt know it.  LOL

Played a 9 hole stroke play round yesterday online and had no issues, other than my opponent's ball hanging over the edge of a bunker lip in apparent defiance of gravity.  The scoring was right and it moved along at a reasonable clip.  The offset viewing angle is getting better and better everytime I look at it, especially with the trail FadeTime set to .06!

Can someone please explain what the percentages mean next to "Caddie Advice"? Thank you.

Essentially, the "Caddie Advice" is the game's estimate of the affect the lie of the ball will have on the shot.  For example, if you have a club selected that goes 200 yards (or 200 metres, take your pick!) and the percentage the "caddie advice" reports is 57%, then if you make a perfect swing with that club, the ball theoretically should go 114 yards (or 114 metres) - and in case it isn't obvious, 57% of 200 is 114.  The percentage does not account for elevation changes from you to the hole, the affect of the wind, or whether the ball sits on an uphill or downhill in the rough.

So essentially the caddie is advising you that you need a new caddie.

Tresclub, if you're never in the rough (or bunkers), I can understand why you never see it .... ;)

(hehehe ... I have no idea of your game, so just take that comment as tongue-in-cheek)

When in the rough, the Caddie Advice is provided below the lie indication (inside the red square box):

Armand,  so sorry.  And yes, I have been in rough and bunkers more times than I care to count.  I had no idea the power and spin percentages were referred to as "Caddy Advice". Thanks for setting me straight.

Warren

What about simple basic controls?

Usually when I get a new game I go into the control configuration to see what all the keys do. Currently we don't have this option in PG. For example, "F2" shows a birds eye view of the current shot. Are these keys documented somewhere?

How do I change clubs, the type of shot, etc?

If the fundamentals were documented somewhere that'd help me a ton.
