Rumour has it (I will not divulge my sources) that JNPG is in the process of selling the game rights to Microsoft.  This could be the reason for a complete stoppage in update news from PP.

This is not the case.

Although I haven't posted too much recently I normally check out the forum daily. Whilst I realise that the devs are very busy and I am reluctant to criticise but I think the lack of input from them regarding PG2 is extremely frustrating. How difficult can in be to post regular progress updates or even reply to forum members concerns?
I still enjoy PG and I'm not trying to pressure the devs in any way but to keep the forum active and interested regular updates are a must.
I've noticed that some threads break down into a series of arguments, disagreement and eventually end up being locked. Some of this can be attributed to the fact that there is very little on the forum to talk about.

Yep.  Agree.

That maybe Crow but why are we not kept up to speed with the development of PG2? I am very interested to see how things are progressing as are many others I suspect.

That would be a real shame but the lack of dev input is quite worrying.

I agree.  Some may think I am bashing this game but I am not.  It is just so disheartening that the meter is in a state of complete randomness for some of us.  I had to revert back to amateur just to have some of my shots make the fairway or a GIR.  I averaged -5 per 9 holes way back when the meter oonly had the small stutters.  But now with all the new meter problems mentioned...

To those who continually say it is on my end ad nauseam I ask this.  Please explain the new meter jumps, larger slides and major pauses at 7 o'clock happening to me and my mates at the same time.  I guess it is all a coincidence?  Not!

Well Buck, that did not take long at all. After removing my block of your posts very recently which was in effect for over a year, I am now blocking you again. You are simply here for one reason, to troll.

post script... I have no need to use another account anymore. TLVX is gone. Have a nice life.

Goodness. You don't have much of a sense of humor man.
No need to take things so seriously. All in good fun.

By the way - it is nice of you to own up to your former multiple user account routine.
This is a kindly moderated forum here. Hopefully you are appreciative.

Most forums permanently block people who do such things.

Some people will always think those who aren't happy with a particular aspect of the game are bashing it, but that is not the case, in fact it's quite the opposite. It shows you are passionate about the product.

May be another topic but I'm looking for an OFFLINE mode of PG1 to be activated with the release of PG2.

I am a golfer, not a gamer. So, I'd need some input from others. Does a community supported program with community developed courses just evaporate when it's no longer supported? The whole idea that a course someone has created with the PP Unity plug in (CF) ceases to work without an internet connection is odd to me.

They are a game built off the backs of a somewhat open source game engine. Yet, seemingly, deny the same openness to its users.

I need to read the fine print BUT it would stand to reason that they are obligated to support the game in its current state for 1 YEAR after the sale of their last Simulator Pass. Current state to me would be the ability to play user created content.

Off to see if such fine print exists...

Absolutely agree. GB is making the claim that the game's being sold. What's his proof other than 'unidentified sources'.

Unless proven otherwise, I'll just consider this another piece of 'fake news'. :D

LOL, I don't what kind of proof you need other than to tell you PP is not being sold to Microsoft...  Believe it or not, I suppose.

That's as maybe but a little input from the devs is always welcome. As I mentioned above, I'm still happy with PG1 but to keep the forum buzzing some development updates are needed. I've hardly seen a dev comment recently.

True,  but it is what it is.   They are super busy.   All I can say is I'm not getting off this train, even if its a little slow right now.

It only takes a few minutes to post a few words just to whet our appetite and get the discussion going. I don't care how long the game takes to be released but a little PR would be welcome.
