Updating Splines Message

Best Answer Mike Jones , 12 October 2016 - 09:07 PM

Yes, it's just letting you know there are a few splines to draw so depending on your pc may take a while. This is more relevant when you want to recalculate the entire course later in the design process.

If you only want to update the few splines you are working on, make sure you just select a spline you want updated (the top bar will say Layer and the type of spline you have chosen). Then, click the Build Spline button (spider web looking thing). I believe it will then update only meshes involved with/adjacent to the current spline. If you are working on hole 17 green, you don't want to wait for all 60 some splines for the whole course to update every time you want to see a small change. I often click the rough surrounding my hole I'm working on and then click the Build Spline but it can really be any spline on that hole. If no splines are selected, it will try and refresh the entire course.
