Does this also occur when you test your course with dynamic sky off in PerfectGolf? Chances are its a dynamic lighting issue and not your course.

Please see the pic.

Even though I have blended the edges of the semi rough to the base texture I seem to be getting a defined line on the edges. How do I overcome this?

Please post your questions in the Q&A for a quicker response.

I venture to guess that your semi-rough mesh has no fringe or fringe blend, or both.

Sorry for taking so long to get back, been working nights :(

Is dynamic lighting off by default because I haven't touched that option.

Basically the glitch is a sharpe line between the last splined texture and the terrain. You can only see it when the camera is quite high eg. following the ball flight. Not a big deal, just not "perfect"! (do you see what I did there?)

One other problem I have which is annoying: when moving the camera around in Unity using the keys the camera will "freeze" for 10 seconds or so then move on at an alarming rate. It does this randomly and quite often. The only way I can get going again is to double-click on the "human height" cube in the menu. This snaps me to the cube and I am good to go again. Don't know if anyone else has this problem?

I have re-mapped the default WASD keys to the arrow keys as I am a "Leftie"!!! Maybe this has something to do with it??

anyway, love CF

I'm talking about in PerfectGolf, it's in your weather settings. If this only happens when the dynamic sky box is on, it's not a course issue but rather a lighting issue in the game.

If it's your semi rough then that's the problem.....the last spline needs to be rough because this slopes down to the base terrain....all the others sit 1.5 above the rough blend reduces down

Hope this helps

YES!!! This is the reason. This "glitch" I was seeing was the "step". Thanks to all for the help. We are getting there!
