Check your free drop color.  It should not be white.  Make it blue or something.

I am trying out some adjusted textures and when I play the course I get the above message. The hole has the correct out of bounds set and no free drop areas, so I have obviously done something wrong with the adjusted textures, as the course played OK before.

I don't think textures can cause that. Do they look ok to you, as you wanted them? In that case it must be some O.B. confusion... Check again and debug, recalculate your O.B., try again.

Carried out all your suggestions and no luck, so I have reverted back to a previous save with default textures and course plays OK again. Thanks for the help, I think this is a case of me trying to run before I can walk :(
