It's because most of us play tournaments every day and are content with the game as it is. If JNPG2 comes out, great. If not, and this version runs indefinitely with occasional updates, that's fine with me too.

I still come here daily but there just isn’t anything much to talk about really.
It’s exciting to see some of these new course design techniques but other than that it’s just dead as a door nail around here, understandably so at this point I think.
I do think there have been quite a few quiet defections over to TGC.
I can’t blame anyone for going where the action and development and future all appear to be.
I personally just don’t care for TGC and their current interpretation of the sport. I’m ready for a real ground up new version with 2k involvement and engine change or revolution, etc.

Have you fat-arsed lounge chair Lay Z Boys tried the traditional bean-bag? You can lay forwards while playing that delicate chip shot while delicately eaten chips from a bowl as big as that green at...
...where was I? Oh! Of course. The PC desk set-up is my only escape. If I was to play 'GAMES!!' in the lounge room on our white leather sofa I would be strangled by my controller cord if I didn't have the wifi dongle thing.

Course Forge is an outlet for me and an escape from an otherwise stressful profession and as such I enjoy the journey more than the destination.

I still check in from time to time in hope for some / any uplifting news about PG2 ... who knows.
Once the personal trolling reached a tedious level I decided to stop posting on the forum, it's a shame really but that seems to be how it is these days

I remember when I invited people to join and play this game. That was when there was still hope it wouldn't stay beta.
