1050ti - anyone using?

He has exceptionally moderate needs here and the only game he plays is this one and I don’t even think he hits 1080P… Maybe just a touch under or 1080P at the maximum…
Is anybody using a 1050 TI with this game that could give me a sense of how the performance is?
Thank you!

After doing a quick check on reviews and comparisons I wouldn't go any smaller that a 6GB 1060. Specially for a golf game like this, or you'll be having to make too many compromises on quality.

Based upon what you're saying and this comparison gets my hopes up actually..

May I ask what CPU you use and what general settings you tend to use in PG?

what a bout a Gtx 970? very cheap and still very capable, used it extensively for this game also and it renders great!

I have a 1050 ti and play 1920 x 1080 play on high custom vsync on every frame then the sun affects, bloom, and other 2 settings are all off. I also turn off shadows. cam distance 3000 grass, distance on 150. I can play most courses locked at 60...

I'm trying to do this in a small low profile build, so the best LP GPU out there right now is the 1050ti.
He actually has a 970 right now, but it's all in a huge case that he hates and wants to get rid of since he does so very little with his PC at this point.

Those of you happily enjoying your 1050ti's
Are they pretty noisy and fans going crazy when playing though?

2 of my grandsons have i3-4170 systems I built for them a couple years ago and I recently upgraded them from 2Gb 750Ti's to 4Gb 1050Ti cards. They have no problems playing all their games at 1080p.

I can't figure out how to turn those back on (have had them disabled for years)
Check that - found it..
Hmm - You have a substantially better CPU than my uncle (He has an i5-4440)
I wonder if that might not have as much impact as the 1050ti for this situation.

best check speeds and clocks and make sure his i5 can run the 1050 to it capability's. I have not overclocked anything, running at factory specs and does the trick. no it is not loud at all and have 3 fans running.

Believe it or not an Intel I3-4130. Old but still works fine for me.
