I've been a long-time golf sim player, mostly in the Links386/Links LS arena. I really like this Perfect Golf game and I'm trying to incorporate some of the things we'd do in Links LS into this one. (FYI: I use the 3-click option with the mouse)
My q's:
- LS had an overhead view of the entire hole which you were able to click on to aim your shot. I've been messing with the F-keys but haven't come across anything like that yet. Am I missing something, or is that just not available?
- Is there a way to view above the tee box down the fairway so you can see the entire layout of the hole..i.e. if it is a dogleg, pot bunkers in the fairway, etc.? For instance, a view as if you were standing on a ladder to look down the fairway.
- If I choose the F-key to view to landing area of the club I've selected and then click on a spot in that view, is there a way to see where I've aimed once the view switches back to the ball position? Links LS let you right-click to let you see where you've aimed. If memory serves, in LS you could also click a flag icon to have the hole position snap to your lie. I haven't found anything like that so far.
I'm digging this sim, the swing and ball flight physics seem really good and the courses are really interesting so far. Any help with the above questions would be appreciated.
