I haven't played the game yet so I don't know the extent of what the issue is other than seeing a video or 2 but I guess if they want realistic physics they need to accept the fact that unless you're hitting a 7 iron extremely high and landing it into soft greens, it's not gonna stop dead.
Any wedge 50 degrees or higher from a fairway lie can and absolutely should be able to stop dead or even spin back when hit correctly. If it's the case that even those clubs are bouncing and rolling out then maybe the green settings are too hard who knows
That seems to echo the commentary so far...I've seen the thought mentioned of "we are back to TGC1 firmness/issues" regarding rollout.
Hopefully tweaking course settings can alleviate that, etc.
I'm more worried about playing from the rough. In tgc2 I couldn't hit a damn club more than like 100 yards from a rough lie. It ruined any enjoyment of the game for me because it is not realistic at all. Trust me, I play most my real golf from shit lies in the rough and rarely do I need to go from a 7 iron length up to like a hybrid just to get the ball go 100 yards lol
Pretty sure that's fixed - perhaps even too much in the opposite direction
