Opinion is not fact. Revenue and ratings would back up Mebbys post. Your dislike for something is what’s moot here. I do agree with you though, that the show was garbageYour point is moot. Rap is hugely popular now and it is crap.
I have only watched a few episodes and came in the room when my girlfriend was watching it. Basically Friends is the typical fluff. The show only ever wrote a couple of scripts and just tweaked the characters. They were who is dating who and who is breaking up with who. As an adult I will never see the fascination that the masses had for a show that was clearly directed at teens with its lame plot lines.

The best comedy to come out of the states is curb your enthusiasm, 9 series of genius writing along with a simply brilliant cast. Curb is prob the only US comedy that actually makes me laugh, the rejoicing at one man's failures and faux pas moments is more British than American, maybe that's why it appeals to my sense of humour.

My channels of choice stimulate the brain, the show Friends just numbs it. Your point if any?

You have to like Seinfeld then... Larry David (Curb) wrote the George character as him.

Never seen Seinfeld, i assume it was aired prime time and was never as risque as curb, anything kinda goes on HBO, with that i cannot see Seinfeld appealing to me without that crude element to it. Would you see something like the tourettes scene in seinfeld?

Polygon impressions of TGC 2019:
https://www.polygon....ssions-xbox-one
It echoes many of my own thoughts about it and many I've seen online in various places that get drowned out by the diehards.
The need to consider implementing real difficultly levels.

Seen a few vids now of 2019 and it indeed appears that they have reverted back to the original game in terms of difficulty, so many going crazy low without breaking sweat, the tempo is hardly posing any problems now people are used to it, makes you appreciate how good the dispersion is thru the levels in pg. I know ADX thinks TP is artificial in it's difficulty, but once you devote range time to nail down a method you understand how good it really is. I have not played much PG recently and have dropped back down to pro, but a concentrated effort back at TP would see me make the jump back up again, you just have keep putting the time in to maintain it, with TGC you don't even have to think about it.

5 years later and they still can't do something as simple as making a background transparent when your avatar is in front of something that will block the view
Sega Genesis golf could do it, but these geniuses can't.
And how pray tell do we see record scores on courses?

Yeah waste of time, i joined one on TGC 2 a few months ago, played my first round of a tour event, carded -12 and they kicked me out saying i should have joined a society with a better standard of player, the guy who messaged me carded -11 in the same round! I said "i take it ur coming with me" he didn't reply...not bothered since. It's just a place for friends, they may say all welcome but once you start kicking their arses they kick yours out the door.

I just can't play more than a few holes of TGC2 and won't get the new game. Playing PG at RTSM Pro and loving it and the challenge.

I'm currently having the opposite experience than you are with TGC 2019.
It's great that we both can have the experience we desire from either game. ![]()
