That is looking to be a really great game. The first series was ridiculously good. It shocked me how much I liked it.

Downloading now..

I totally missed ever playing v1 of the game, but the reviews and passion for it have me quite excited to try out this new one tonight!

I can't wait to play it when I get back in town.  V1 shocked me.  There's a learning curve and the cartoony graphics may be a slight turn-off at first but give it some time... it's probably one of the best baseball games I've ever played.  Like Greens stated - the best part is how you can quickly get in several games in a short period of time.  And now they've even added a "resume" feature which will make it even better.

A Switch version of this would be heavenly.

Not to me!

Looks great!

I honestly love all kinds of different graphic styles, as long as it all works together and looks like it belong together and is polished.

It's always been my bugaboo w/ PG graphics.  Some elements and certain courses look mostly great, but most all areas of the game you can find some strange straight lines and edges with the water or bunkers or foliage with seemingly baked in lighting on the textures in use and trees that just look way too "photo texture draped on polygons" and really reminiscent of mid 2000's/early 3D gaming efforts.

The videos of SMB2 looks stellar.  Buttery smooth and super polished.  Love it!  Excited for tonight.

It's definitely super smooth and polished.  Sounds like they've added a lot of things you'd expect in a V2 release - mostly polishing on an already stellar game.  The biggest thing is that they got rid of the REALLY cartoonish characters and went with more mainstream iterations this time.  Outside of that they've added some things to get the game closer to a true simulation all while trying to keep the game fun, fast paced, and not too bogged down into being SO realistic that it get stale and dry.  I love MLB the Show but unless you're a true baseball fanatic that game can get a little dry here and there (still a fantastic game though).

Well I can tell you the AI is much better than the first game and really love how it plays.  The game looks a lot better than before and its not just a HR fest as it was before at the lower levels and the pitching is better as now the pitchers only have so many pitches and not like before when they all had them all.  The Sirloins still bang it and the Moose also but the game is harder and that is a good thing.  Have played a few games so far and love what I see.

Well DoGgz, try hitting a baseball coming at you at 100mph.  I cannot stand kickball aka football aka soccer.  To me its the most boring sport there is.  To each their own.  :)

I'm afraid you are in the minority, football ( soccer ) is totally global, even MLS draw huge crowds.  there is a passion in football and football fans that is unmatched in any other sport, its almost spiritual and most def tribal...The beautiful game!

Speaking of which… Has anybody compared FIFA 18 and PES 18 and if so do you have any thoughts either way?

Yep, PES is the much better game, but FIFA has the license.  The trouble with FIFA is the A.I. just try and walk the ball in the net, its been that way for years now, PES A.I. often surprise you, its a joy....shame about the license.

I've played soccer my whole life and even had a few scholarship offers for D2 college play (I chose an education over a dead-end soccer path) and I find FIFA 18 to be better than PES.  PES is a good game and in some ways it's better than FIFA.  But the overall experience of FIFA for me is just unbeatable.  I think it's the best sports game on the market right now.

Dogz - I respect your opinion of course but I don't get your comments about the AI trying to walk the ball into the net.  They score on me from distance quite frequently.  This is the first FIFA in years that I haven't had to fiddle with sliders ad nauseam to get a halfway decent gameplay experience.

I have one major problem with football, the insane fans.  Any sport where each team's fans must be brought to a stadium from opposite sides of the street and segregated in the stands is pure lunacy to me.  After all it is only a game like any other game.

Certain NFL venues are approaching this level today.

To be fair i have not played FIFA 18 so that may have changed now, but from my experience with past FIFA games you were always safe if the A.I were outside the box.

This thread has maybe/probably done more harm now that more people know about this I’m guessing. Usually when cheats are found you don’t go around announcing them to a wider audience. I didn’t know about this until this thread popped up as I’m sure many others on here as well did not know.

There is no proof that anyone knew about this Steam setting. It's not a cheat. It should be removed though. But this is Virtue Signaling at its worst....It's like calling the police on your Father, because he's speeding. No one likes a snitch....

No one likes a straight shooter either, i would rather expose it and put myself out of business than play alongside these desperate people...sorry for that  ;)

That's alright DoGgs. Don't blame you for bringing it to PP's attention. Should have been handled internally though. I never knew about it,  or wanted to. Glad i bought TGC2... :D

I mentioned to Mike Jones in a pm way, way back about a bug where one could press ctrl and spacebar to achieve a 100% power and dead straight swing on any club.  He thanked me and PP patched it in the next update.
