Hey Joe...I don't know if you want to play these semi-complete, but I slopped the courses together so I could play them. (just textures and a few trees). They play fine, but are hardly finished. One thing, tho...the Bobby's zip is the Dutch course, and the Dutch zip is the Bobby's...lol

(they'll show the correct course name in the carousel) I placed the shot points at 260 yards...(I like to tee off with the 3 wood on shorter courses) Also, just leave "pins" on "medium". I have 1 easy, 1 difficult and 8 to 10 mediums for each green. (that's my solution to getting "random" pins)

No hazards, so keep it in play... in other words,if you hit one in the pond, you'll have to put on your scuba gear for the next shot, you won't get a drop option. lol

I can see why you want them in the game Jugador, they are excellent courses.  If you want to finish them, welcome to the pain of design...

lol...Yeah, they are fun to play (even unfinished). I just started the "Dutch" again from scratch, then I'll do the Bobby's. (I like them both) I'm gonna take it nice and slow and try to make them look good. I found a nice texture to use for the "marsh", and some "concrete" textures to try for the cart paths. You're not kidding, tho,it is a tedious task if you want to do it right. I really do like RTJ II's designs.

I just  found another one of his courses in New Jersey (Haworth CC) that has a sweet OH, and looks like another interesting design. Now, I know why you had so many courses that you had to clear out some. If I had Global Mapper I'd have 50 unfinished courses...lol

There's a Jones course three hours from me, Palmer Coolum.  Used to be pretty high in the Aussie rankings.  Bubba Watson wasn't far from the lead one year but he fell to pieces in his final round.

Looks nice on google earth. It looks like a smallish population in that area, too. You can probably get a tee time most any time. sounds like the Pro's like it.

"Our stunning 72 par, 6137 metre course has been tackled by the game’s best including major winners Bubba Watson, Adam Scott, Y.E.Yang, Greg Norman and Darren Clarke. Other high profile players who have graced our fairways include, Aussie favorites Jason Day, Geoff Ogilvy, Stuart Appleby, Aaron Baddeley, Steven Bowditch, John Senden, Rod Pampling and Robert Allenby, as well as top international players such as the USA’s Ricky Fowler, K T Kim from South Korea, Liang Wen Chong from China and many, many more!"

You also had the routing correct for each course, bobbys is bobbys and dutch is dutch.

I'll play it one day.  Wouldn't mind it in PG, Mt Coolum in the background would look cool.  Screw it, I'm going to start it.

I think I like #16 better, easily reachable par 4 but you can't see the green from the tee and if you go to far you could put it in the hazard!!

lol...got that tee box smoothed out. You're too aggressive! I like to hit a 4 iron off the tee, then an easy wedge to the pin. I also like #9...short, but the elevated tee box makes it tricky.

We should meet there for a game, I'm only an hour away.

3 hours for me Peter, but I'd love to get there.  It's an expensive round, so I'll be calling to make sure they're not coring or having a corporate day.  If you don't mind I might invite my brother-in-law who lives up there.  Weekends suit you best?

Keep an eye out for the T_Rex guys, I hear he swallows the cart and all... :D

1KctY7q.jpg EDIT...Ooops...never mind. I checked out the wrong course(Palmer Coolum). I thought it was kind of a dumb idea anyway.  :D

No you were right, it's Palmer Coolum.  The T-rex isn't there any more.  It was put there by the guy who bought the resort the course is attached to, whose other bright ideas include building a second Titanic.

Actually Titanic II would be cool to see, but he's generally a wildcard.

With the new diffuse texture generator coming I'm thinking of making a comeback. If you have any terrains available can you pull one aside, please?

No probs.  I could offer a head start on Palmer Coolum or Newcastle, they have splines and tees set to go.
