Some ugly little bilboard trees in the third picture, that doesn't have any shadows. Just like PG1.

Water is better and reflective, but reflection's offset is a little off.

Also weird bright bunker edges in the third picture.

Lighting is quite nice.

I spy some 3D grass in shot #2 above

Yes, I think I do too amid the fuzzy bloom of the photographed projection screen medium.  Well, at least we now know what VG2 will look like on a projection screen, playing the game from the proper perspective.  Imagine though, how much better it would look on a good 4K UHD large screen display or a high quality computer monitor.  I would like to see a direct capture of image #2 in 4K; that would be a lot more telling,  I can't make a proper comparison between what I'm seeing in those pix to what I see on my 55" 4K UHD HDTV, when playing JNPG.

Will TM allow pc players to have PG2/VG2?

PROS:
100 pc players happy for 5 minutes

CONS:
100 pc players happy for 5 minutes

Thought provoking way to put it, but I think the numbers would be closer to 200 ;)  Seriously though, I think if they could somehow get a tailorable, mo-capped golfer in the game of at least the caliber of those in TGC 2019, in the VG2 environment, with at least JNPG's swing mechanic and ball physics, TM would have a *profitable* commodity.   I emphasize profitable because it might not be profitable enough for them to achieve their target return on investment.  Based on what I've read and seen, I just get the sense that Trackman has no desire to go down the PC desktop game path.

I don’t know JC. Something is amiss there.
Seems like search engine bot hits are counting there or something.

That grass looks very nice (from what we can’t tell anyhow)

Water looks awesome also (in picture from next post)

You seen a video anywhere we can check out?
Curious how it looks in motion

WTF are these round shapes? They exist in every screen shot and are exactly in the same place???

Very disturbing!

Maybe it's because these screen shots are taken with camera.

And just to add to above…
You get weird stuff like that when you take photos of a projection or of another monitor

The photos are becoming more telling and I'm liking the better looks we're getting at the rough textures now.  What's with the golfer in the foreground though?  Trackman doesn't use animated avatars with their simulator, do they?

I could be wrong but I think that’s a real person.i think that because I see a ball on screen I think in 2 of the pics..but again it could be a little photoshop trickery..

I'm not going to lie, I hate trackman but I am impressed a bit. I just wish I could afford a $15,000 simulator setup to play this game..lol

Okay, I see it now... the person's image, had a cartoonish look to him, due to the focus of the photography.  Yes, that's not an avatar.

I would like to have one too, but the problem is I'd have to add on another  ~$50K to add a room on my house in which to set it up!

Same, even in my garage I would hit the ceiling with a driver.

I dunno.. looks like PG1 graphics to me..    not overly impressed with the graphics given what is out there on xbox and ps4 these days.   I know comparing apples and oranges, but I could point out current courses that look better then some of these screenshots.
