Replayed Shadowlands and shot 37-37=74 =2  better by just 1 stroke but could have been worse.

38% fairways

33 % greens

1.44 putts

Just kept grinding and was happy with that score.  On the last of couple days of PG on this PC as new Gaming PC coming on Friday and might not get to try till Sunday when I return but it will be a relief to me.  Been getting 15 to 20FP at best at Med settings and at times I am under 10 quite a bit and hard to keep the swing going and I have tried low swing meter but hate the graphics.  New unit has GeForce GTX 760 and Intel Processor so I should be at Ultra and maybe playing a little better.  Until then its off to Mass. to try and improve on my 75 over there.

Scoreboard updated.

Four days without the internet is a nightmare. I've been out on the course in offline mode but there seems to be strange camera movement during the aiming process. It's a bit disconcerting but certainly not unplayable.

Florida Glades: 69

This was a pretty solid round. I think I had one bogey. Left 2 or 3 easy birdies on the greens :(

Thanks for the updates Ted!

One more track for you to complete and we'll see where you stand on the leaderboard.

Good Luck

Replayed Massachusetts. 38-36=74 +2. Improve by 1.

71% fairways
44% greens
1.50 putts

I want to talk about a simple Par and why this game is the best we have ever played. On hole 13 which is a bear anyway I pushed my drive into the trees on the right. So instead of playing backwards to my own fairway I looked for options and found one to the right in the other fairway so playe a shot to there of about 85 yards. This left me with a shot of 157 over the trees to the pin and I hit an 8I to about 12 ft and knocked in the putt for par. Now if I go backwards I am still in fairway but over 200 yds to stick and this is where game shines. In real golf I would have done the same and played to the right and tried to get ont the green and make no worse than boggie just as I did in the game and no game we have ever had in golf was as realistic as that hole for me. This game is really addicting.

Yeah J. It's getting crowded at the top with MWP about to hit the leaderboard and the guy from Greensboro back on the tour and playing well. I haven't picked up a club in anger for over a week.

I suppose we have to consider the ramifications of the next update if gameplay changes dramatically. I would be inclined to announce the winner of FPC1 and start FPC2 shortly after that. If anyone has ideas let us know. Maybe a Min/Min feeder comp to run alongside the FPC.

Personally I like this concept. It suits my approach to sim golf in that there is no time frame pressure. I am quite pleased with the closeness of the competition and how it has turned out overall. Of course with the advent of tournaments run by PG this might all come to an end. Who knows?

My new rig is arriving today and I will finally get an acceptable FPS as last night I was playing at Florida and on hole number 2 was only getting 8 FPS and tough to swing with that.  Excited to try out the new rig at the two courses with my high scores and see what it does and maybe I can get close to you guys at the top of the leaderboard so at least I can see you.  lol.

Black Swan: 71

On my approach shot to the 18th green, I tried to place my flag marker and clicked the swing meter on accident, resulting in a little bump shot. Doh!!

Man I struggle to get birdies on this course. The approaches are usually long, and the greens are hilly.

Replayed Shadowlands 39-34=73 improved by 1. MS BLI NPS Med 10 calm
Fairways. 64%
Greens. 50%
Putts 29

First round with new PC and took awhile to get used to playing with more than 12 FPS and adjusted to 1.10 and started figuring it out. The meter was like slicing butter and played game at Ultra Hiigh the whole way and can't believe how good it looked and how well the game played. No jumping at all and just a lot of fun but done for night as downloading updates for PC now. I should have sucked it up when game first came out and can't believe how much I was missing. With smooth meter I was able to control ball more and would have been a few shots lower if putter didn't desert me as I missed some short ones and the 4 ft birdie putt miss on #2 still has a bad tast in my mouth. Will try again tomorrow.

G,

You're going to be able to enjoy the subtlties of the game so much more with a new rig.

I built a new one 4 months ago, and can play so much better now. (I7 @ 4700, 16 GB ram, 970 4GB video).

Enjoy!

This post is directed at all thows that play Teddy's Pro Circuit #1.  I've attached a spreadsheet that you can use to keep track of your stats, and compare them to PGA 2013 equivalents. I use this to decide if I'm playing at the appropriate "aid" level. Change the extension to "xlsx" (instaed of "txt").
