Tour Pro after patch: Is the ratio penalty over pronounced?

Have they considered checking out "Pro"?
LOL
I do sometimes think that the naming of specific difficulty levels encourages the inner personalities of humans to always strive for a certain tier, lest they be perhaps described as less than a virtual "Tour Pro". Oh for shame! :-)

I guarantee people would better align with what they enjoy playing on with less concern of the prestige.

This is a salient point as well.
It is completely irrelevant that a single player cannot compete on the highest level, and automatically assumes that everyone else must suffer that same fate.
In fact, another user claims that, as a 3-Click player, they can actually hit the ball further than any other swing type on offer.

That's genuine ego my friend, not insecurity. I lack self-doubt because my hand-eye coordination is way above average. That's simply a gift I was born with and stood me well through a professional sport and everthing else I do from Fly Fish Casting to shooting a pistol or rifle.
You might even call it "pure confidence". Anything less is just innane.
BTW: Play me one on one rather than dodge me like a few other players do because they are afraid of a screenshot showing the result of the match. If you win, I'd be happy to see you post a screenie if you feel the need.

You are hilarious dude. You just quoted yourself saying that 3-Clickers cannot hit max distance on Tour Pro... obviously because you yourself don't have the hand-eye coordination to pull it off.
I quoted another 3-Click user proving that they can hit max distance, and even beyond that.
So, your assertions, on both counts... are patently false.

First off... The swing mechanic change and rts was just released. Did you really expect to not have a learning curve..... Really. All the complaints about getting swing types the same and getting stats to represent real life tour stats are great discussions and maybe some guide lines to shoot for. But to tailor a golf game, that represents a sim but still a golf video game, to mirror real life tour stats should not be the main goal. Please stop saying oh look at leader boards and who's on top they must have an advantage.. please stop saying the 3 click is easy. On tour pro i hit the perfect snap maybe 1 time outta 7 or 8.. Some people complained that things were not fair and changes were made, now those same people Can't deal with it.... All I can say is find what suits you best , play, And have a blast And stop all the bickering and leave my 3 click alone....Do I like rts? I think it is an awsome addition, why the motion swing had to be seperated is beyond me. Dont under stand whty the new rts couldnt have just been the old motion swing w/o the meter, and golfer would move based on mouse movement...why a a new swig type was introduced is beyond me... as much as i love 3 click and dont want to change. I'm going to wait until all swings are complete b4 choosing 1 Too many differences between rts and motion swing now. Everything needs some time and more tweaks.. I await the day for the devs to say thats it we are done this is it this is what you have and here is bethesda...

There is no cheating in PG, and I am clicker. When I see you in the lobby you can host whatever you like at whatever level you like. I will join and play 9 holes with you. I would suggest match play.

1. Take out the gimmies. I haven't missed a 25 inch putt since long time ago.
2. Don't tell people what FUN is. Fun for me is simulating how a pro thinks himself around the course and simulating the execution of the different shots in a realistic as possible manner.
3. You want arcade and grip-it-and rip-it? Know what? It is already in the game. Play on beginner level and shoot 58 in under 15 minutes. But don't expect all others to classify that as FUN.
4. You don't want to hear anything about the differences between the swing mechanics because of your beloved lobby? Guess what? As long as the differences are there and other players would like to play in a somewhat level playing field in tournaments you will hear it.
All in all you are defending your own interest way more vehemently than others. We asked for change for one swing mechanic in one difficulty level. That hasn't interfered at all with your interests of an crowded lobby. Why? Because i would guess that not a lot of “us“ are potential playing partners of yours in the first place.
This is why I hesitate to reply to you. You seem to become aggressive and also start assuming things. Why do you assume I am on beginner level? I play far above beginner but not being a braggart I do not see the purpose of mentioning what it is. Also why should it take more than 30 seconds ever to complete a shot? So maybe it is you who lack the required skills if you need to shoot slower. See where this is going? There is no need to become irate just because I disagree with with you. Perfect Golf is the name of this game, but don't take that title too seriously.
"All in all you are defending your own interest way more vehemently than others."
I think what you meant to say was that I have proved my case better than others as to why swing types are not intended as measuring devices for ones skill. I have never seen someone on a real course told how their style of swing is to be executed. Therefore to use swing types in this game as another difficulty setting goes against realism. Case Closed Like I stated earlier, some simply want everything their way, regardless if it emulates real life play or not.
I am only here for intelligent debate. I am not here to get upset nor to attack anyone. Therefore my post to you was written without anger or malice.
