I think reports of the community's demise may have been greatly exaggerated....

The sound script is an unexpected surprise. Is this similar to the Links scripts where you assign sounds to specific events? Looks like all my Carl Spackler clips might have found a new home.

A question about NVIDIA Turf.  Does that mean that I will need Windows 10?  Currently I am using Windows 7.  Thanks and looking forward to this latest update.

I asked this very question, and the answer I got what that its should work in any windows that has dx11 support, which Win7 does. I guess the proof will be in the pudding as they say.

Since, it's not mentioned I think it's safe to assume a later feature, don't you?

You will need Win10 for the upcoming Xbox One integration, but Win7 supports DX11.  Vista users had to install a registry hack to make it work, IIRC.

Cool video of Turf Effects....

Truly amazing... this goes a bit further than just 3-D grass, IMO.  I can't wait to see how this changes the look and feel of JNPG!

As for the Windows 10 version of JNPG, if Turf Effects are plugged in and ready to go in mid-October, would that mean that the Windows 10 PC version of the game would have to wait until the XBox One version is ready to go?  I think that as soon as Turf Effects can be put in existing PC customers hands the better.  It will help change the perception of JNPG being a DirectX 9 throwback in the minds of lots of prospective buyers I know.

Do you have a link?

I've been scouring the internet looking for information on videocard compatibility but have not found anything yet.

Here is a link I looked up for you.  In the dependencies on the right it says DX11.  That was all I could find.

Yeah based on my conversations with NVIDIA it will work on all DX11 cards on Win 7 and above.  It is still a beta product so not much info out there
