It's been 10 days since they announced the update was coming.  What are you smoking that's playing tricks with your perception of time?   :D

Once you pass the 7 day mark the singular of "week" turns into the plural of "weeks"

Last time I checked 1.42 weeks is plural.  :D

That's a good point Axe!

Perhaps paring down the scope of updates would make it more manageable to implement, test and also more easily determine if new bugs have crept in?

Then the Dev is in the "damned if you do, damned if you don't, catch - 22 situation" of not providing enough content in that update/. It is all a balancing act and I can tell you for a FACT it is the Team's intent to release this update with what we said would be released as bug-free as is humanly possible. We are working our tails off testing and delivering feedback and AJ and Mike are responding with new builds to test......shouldn't be much longer now.....

Well I was sort of implying that updates with less content in them would hopefully occur more frequently.

Less content in each update should translate into less that can go wrong/need testing with each update also.

That would seemingly also be a win.

Looking forward to the update......yes it has been awhile....so what. Some people act like their whole life depends on the "next" update. I remember  buying this game way back when.....and where we are today. The journey has taken some time......but the game itself is so much better for it. Do it right or don't do it at all. This was not a paid ad by PP if you need to know....my bad...... you only want to know when the next update is

Thanks.

Btw, since Crow mentioned we thought it was ready a week ago, it means it could be ready any day now.  :)

I'm in no rush but it would be great if the update landed before Christmas ... only because I'll be off work and have plenty of time to play and enjoy the new features :)

Yes I know, totally selfish reasons ... what can I tell ya !!!

Hi gravedodger,

I do not think your wish is a very selfish one considering that there are 19 days left till Christmas Day. I would have to believe that Andrew and Mike feel the same way.

On a side note:

I actually took the OP as simply an update on the development process for November. I did not take it to mean the update would be a November update. That being said I know the developers intent was to have this out already. I really want to take a look at it as well but I resist the temptation to become too frustrated with the delay. It is what it is and it will be out when it's out.

I think the Andrew and Mike have made some effort to be more communicative. Although a little blurb saying, "Hey everyone we ran into some blockers so  there will be a delay in the release of the update. Rest assured we are dong everything we can", would have been nice. But you know it's easy to say that from this side of the fence. Maybe in the future they could delegate one of their trusted testers to disseminate such an update.

SC  :)

I have to disagree.  What happened to the option to put the links in chronological order?  I used to double click on the link header to get the courses and/or updates in order but now it is gone?  Grrrrr

ps...I just looked on Mozilla Firefox and the new look is present.  It is not working on Google Chrome.
