OK - Round 4 has ended, here is the scoreboard.
Pairings for the Final round will be posted tomorrow, along with conditions.
I would like to wrap things up by next Tuesday. Let me know if this presents a problem with your schedule.

Hi everyone,
Shame is I'm working on a Florida style course right now. I've got 13 holes laid out and the last 5 are pretty much set conceptually. I'm really liking how it is turning out I just need to get my hands on some of those palms like the Naples Course. I started my course inspired by the Tiburon Golf Course in Naples then the Naples Course for JNPG came out.
Mine is fictionally set in the Apalachee Region of Florida right near the northern border by the crook of the handle basically. A little more hilly in some areas of the course. I'm really liking the way it is playing and the mix of holes so far.

We could hold off on the Florida swing till SC is finished with his course and have say a Links event where we could use Royal Troon, The Old Course and Carnoustie and I am sure another good one is there. Thoughts anyone.

Thanks John and some nice conditions there and I will be swinging the old 3C so I expect a better effort this time. I have played four rounds today with 3C and only a couple lipouts instead of the usual 5 or 6 a round I was getting with RTS-C. There is a reason I play all the swings as when one goes bad there is always another but I think I am going to stick to 3C this time for OGT and this and just fool around in select events for the others as I know that swing well from my links days. Good luck to all in the final round.

Good luck G!
And I think the lip-outs are all about the speed of the putt, and the lack of fidelity of the input devices at ~ 5 ft putts (3C is the more forgiving).

Conditions and Finals details are up on post #1
A big thanks to John (JMK) for introducing this concept to FRET. It has been great fun playing all those great courses and particularly enjoyable playing against a real person even though it is a recording. It certainly increases the pleasure of playing JNPG to have someone to play with and/or against.
And thanks John for keeping the 'cats' in line and under control.
Good luck in the finals gentlemen.

as in "herding cats = coaching 6 yr olds"; not JCat.
Ted - front page looks great. Looking forward to new "Swings" all around the world as new courses are released.

Excellent work John and Ted, it's been great fun playing something that's a little different and the extra focus has certainly helped my scoring pick-up.
Very best of luck Ted and having played a practise round at Bandon yesterday, I'll need to up my game a fair bit to give you a decent test I reckon (at least 6 over which didn't instill confidence!). Should be able to get my round added to the folder later this evening.
