Greetings,
Here is a highlight from my round at Bandon Dunes. I played a bit better than usual.
Cheers and good luck to all yet to play.

Well its over and thank God for that as I don't know how much more I could take of Bandon Dunes especially #16. It pretty much ruined both our rounds and when you see your opponent hit the ball on the green and it rolls just past the pin and not with a lot of juice and it keeps going to the back Right of the green and out of bounds you should take heed since the hole killed you the day before. LLT you were robbed on that one and you almost had a double eagle on #2. Oh well it was fun and a good match and below is the damage and its on to the next event.
Greens 36-39 = 75 I watched Tiger play at Dubai today and at least I beat him. Lol
LLT 36-38 = 74

I take-it that everyone worked out their course version issues?
I think I'll go play Joe's recording, now. JMK59

Close front 9 so far, Joe. I'm strugling with the putter, except for the 50 ft birdie on #2.

Joe,
Wow, that was quite the nerve-wracking round. When I double bogied 11 by three putting from 15 ft to go down by 3, I thought the match was over. Two improbable approaches on 17 and 18 ( a 7W out of the rough to 28 in, and a 3W to 8 ft for eagle to win that I missed) put me in position for finishing birdies. I uploaded the shots to MEGA.
Your round, especially the front 9, was brillant. Great putts on #6 and #9 for birdies. Was the drive on #1 over the building, and within 5 ft of OB, on purpose? Interesting way to play that hole. When FRET_II is over, can I grab some of your other recorded rounds?
John

Wow! Great match you guys. You were actually four down after 11 J by my calculations.
Posted 03 February 2017 - 02:57 AM
Why yes, yes I was! The approach on 18 with the 3W rolled right by the cup (~1 ft) - could have been an albatross.
I can do the complex, but not the simple math. Thanks Ted. I'll send you a spreadsheet soon. John

Sorry IAN, I think I had the wrong version. (Even though the directory I had was BandonFinal)
I originally got the wrong version error when I tried to play your round. I re-downloaded the course from OGT and was able to play your round. I will replay my solo round and upload tomorrow for you play against.
Sorry for the mix-up

Alan, well you certainly played that last round !

I thought I almost had you, around the 15/16th hole. However, one of my landing shots on the green took a nasty bounce and where I expected around a 10ft putt, it took itself to 22ft. You were sitting at 60ft... and I saw your putt still leave you with a further 15ft for par. At that point I knew if I sunk mine, we'd walk off level or with me ahead if you failed the 15ft putt. No pressure lol....
I missed, but a nice lip meant my attempt was almost good enough. A 4ft return... I waited to see what you did with the double break putt for par. And.... you nailed it... full on. Very nice. So I expected us to walk off, with you still ahead by 1.... but no... my 4 foot putt saw it stop 1inch short... on a stimp of 13... yeah... some choice words of how...?!!
LOL... game over, I chomped all through the final holes seething..
Well played Alan, good contest sir..

My recorded round is now loaded... you'll be calling FEMA in on my behalf after you see what happens to me on 17! ![]()
EDIT: Ignore this round Terry. I didn't read the fine print and played the original final version of Bandon Dunes. I'll play another here in a bit and get it posted.

Certainly not on purpose as I occasionally get a wide snap to the right. I did get lucky though with where it ended up. Just couldnt get anything to drop on the back nine.

thanks for the compliments Ian. You would have faired a lot better if you had the old version I originally used
I only shot a 72 on that course.
While this may not be as interactive as live multiplayer, It definitely adds a level of stress as you see the recorded player make/miss shots and you adjust your own strategy accordingly. Lots of Fun !
Lets do it again

remers and the golf course gave me a walloping.
Every long shot of mine was a well played cover drive. Serves me right for playing Don Bradman 17 instead of practicing golf. Oh! RTS-M why have you forsaken me?
Anyway, we were two good players out of luck although remers played some fine golf. That OB on 6 was pretty cruel remers.
We'll be taking our first scores thank you sir.
