Best Answer Crow357 , 05 November 2016 - 04:52 PM

Do a save as.  Give it a new name.  Then load it.  Should be good to go.

The library is read only at present. Is there a way to be able to change this and be able to edit some of the settings ?

The point I'm making is that my library says "default - read only, hence my question, how to make this editable.

#33 doesn't cover this.

I think he refers to .... go to Menu (in Unity) Perfect Parallel --> Course Forge Settings --> Advanced Mode ... to enable the possibility to edit the Layer Settings .... should be really covered in the video (if you take time to watch it full) if it's not the wrong video he pointed out. Sry, no time to check this.

;)

I've already set course forge settings to advanced. All that does is enable the library to be opened and inspected. It still says read only !

Crow, I will try your suggestion thanks.

Captain, did you happen to start a completely new project? I have run into the same situation while attempting a project from scratch. When I loaded up the original terrain and scene all was back to normal and layers were customizable again, yet when I go back to my new project (also saved with a different name and reloaded) the layers were once again read only. Sorry I don't have a solution just a few clues to hopefully find it.

To be a little more specific on Crow's answer you need to change the name of the layer lib, save, and reload not your project.
