Ah, the bad old days of buying a disc with five courses on it.
Hard to knock anything like that given where the state of golf games is at the moment.
No financial incentives = No golf games being developed or updated anymore.

I can't find hide nor hair of any of my PGA Championship Golf 2000 CD's. In fact, 90% of my PC game CDs are AWOL I was able to find Virtual Golf: Scottish Open... a 95'ish DOS game, which I recall being pretty cool at the time, with its dynamic (in its day) camera presentation modes, but I can't get it to run in any sort of compatibility mode. I can't get "DosBox" to run either. Oh well, I was really more interested in PGA Championship Golf 2000 anyway.

Not to encourage "piracy" or anything, but isn't PGA 2000 readily available for free online in a few places?
The core game is complete and total abandonware at this point.
I can't imagine many having a huge issue with "sourcing a copy".

I tried hunting down my old PGA 2000 CD disks and can't find them either.
BTW, I agree that it's abandonware and not equivalent to piracy.
Do you know a "safe" place to download them from?

Any of the links on this page do it?
(the installer perhaps? - have not tried it, so not sure)

I'll certainly give that a try. I'd seen that page linked earlier in the thread, but took a quick glimpse at it and thought that it was just for courses. I'll report back how it works...

I downloaded the installation and patch files, but after installation, I clicked on the "PGA2000.exe" file in the SIERRA/PGA2000 folder and get a "Cannot find file, you must re-install PGA Championship 2000" I re-installed it and got the same message. My frustration limit with this has been reached. If I find my CDs I'll reinstall it from them...

Did any of you design any courses for PGA 2000 and if so which ones? I know Desertrat did sierra ridge. Do any of you remember your user name in PGA? Now don't laugh but I am still designing courses for that game. Everything you said about the swing is true. I just installed a VM on win 10 too. I still have an old XP computer strictly for PGA.

I never fully got the hang of PGA 2000. At the time I had a pretty slow PC and I was also trying to beta test APCD, which was also very difficult due to slowness of said PC.
