Indeed, Richard, the world of speculation is strong in this thread.
no one knows what trackman really is going todo, intil they(or Mike/Andre) make a statemanet.
and they have NO obligation to the players.

We aren't players.
We are customers.

Customers yes but from 20-130 playing customers is it worth investing anymore time?

Perhaps if PP MK2 can produce a more polished and finished product their time will be well spent and the game will become a shop window for their simulation hardware.Customers yes but from 20-130 playing customers is it worth investing anymore time?

I'm hopeful but I just hate the silence. Call me old fashioned but I just think it's rude!
I've never been in business but I would like to think that if I had I would have treated my customers with a little more respect.
Fair comment Ian i do understand the frustration

Ian, after spending my 40+ years in Corporate America, many of those years in acquisitions and divestitures, the deep silence tells me something major is in the wind. This smells of NDA requirements during Due Diligence by the buyer. It wouldn’t surprise me if the guy in the video spilled the beans prematurely. The deal may not be finalized yet, therefore explaining the silence. These types of business arrangements get derailed routinely. All we can do is wait until the lawyers and bean counters do their thing.I've never been in business but I would like to think that if I had I would have treated my customers with a little more respect.

Andrew and/or Mike, let us know the future of PG once you figure it out. The other apparent “insiders” are only speculating and creating confusion, IMHO.

Trackman bought PP?
Yes.

Based on the above, yes!! Are you principal in either PP or TM and authorized to speak on their behalf? I find it strange that a forum would be the main communication vechicle for such an important business decision. Not to mention that the known PP principals, Eric, Andrew or Mike are completely silent. Also, acquisition announcements are usually made by the buyer. Are you referring to me?

I sure don't...
Things on this forum have been strange for a long long time now.
Rather than shoot the messenger, I'm just happy someone who appears to know more than the rest of us here is sharing what little he's able to share (or feels comfortable sharing).

I'm not sure how the acquisition of Perfect Parallel by Trackman will affect the prospects of a PC version, and particularly an XBox One or PS4 version of a new, Hi-Res/Mo-capped golfer, Turf Effects enhanced version of JNPG. My instincts tell me that the simulator version of the game would get most if not all of the attention, at least in the short run.
I have no reason to doubt Zmax's information on this as he's as close to the source as anyone who's frequented this forum in the last two months. The silence of Andrew and Mike in the last two months would be easily explained by a deal like this taking place in the background. I'll hold on to whatever hope I have left for a 'Trackman Perfect Golf 2' on the PC and XBox One (I have an XBox One X, which I think would be very well suited for TMPG2) until I read an official announcement speaking to plans for the PC and possible console versions.

A complete guess from me but I'd think that the console version is never going to happen at this point. TM likely has zero interest in doing anything in that area.
Assuming that the PC version and Simulator version are both using the same software then I could easily see a new JNPG2 (or whatever we want to call it) being made available for the PC but the focus of the team will be on simulator features which likely means no love for a new avatar because the simulator guys don't need that.
I think the PC version needs to stick around for community course creation unless they want to completely bring that back in house and have Mike focus on publishing courses for paid downloads.

I guess the original FOV will never come back now - not so much on the back burner but in another universe now ![]()
I am awaiting an OFFICIAL announcement somwhere like most other posters re the future of the PC game (and console and simulator versions) and, hopefully, its likely road map.
