really hard to tell what shall happen.

sure wish that they would post an Official Statement

about what there plans may be for the PC format.

would be nice if all continues as it is now i really think it is a great game and the gameplay

cept for a few little things is pretty solid. i don't even need PG2 this one works just fine.

let me get Arnold away from the TV and i will see what he thinks.lol

This Trackman acquisition pretty well explains the dev silence. I guess all we can do now is watch this space and hope.

This news tells me a few things.

The PC version of PG2 (if that ever comes out) will take a back seat to the simulator version. What you have with the current JNPG is what you have.

I think any chance of console versions are gone with this announcement.

It appears Mike and Andrew have found a good deal for their company and IP, and if so, congratulations to them. Cannot blame them one bit. Were I in their shoes, I would have done the same. They earned it.

This also means that they are both in an NDA themselves and likely can't comment until the deal is finalized and all parties are free to discuss.

If you ask me it's a pretty shabby way to treat PG customers. Yes, I know we've all had our money's worth ten times over but this has been very poorly handled.

But doesnt NDAs usually prohibit people from talking about the deal in details? I mean - arent they allowed to announce they're in the progress of dealing with Trackman or?

In the video it says "we have aquired PP last year". So the deal seems to be done at least 2 months back.

PP doesn't owe as a statement. But i would be curious if this deal has any consequences on JNPG or PG2.

Is Trackman calling all the shots now?

Or was it a deal for parts?

Is PP still free to work for the Golf Channel?

I would say that quite a few questions come up.

How about a short statement????

A.) Yes, Trackman bought us and we aren't free to talk here (yes/no?)

B.) We are still working on PG2 (yes/no?) and it will be available on those systems: .......

Per Andrew, PG2 will be playable on pc(mouse/controller), Trackman, Skytrak, and other launch monitors, just as the current PG1.

Just quoting Zmax's post above... so, it seems like PG2 is still being worked on.   By who, not sure... everyone's guess is as good as mine.. it is what it is.

PG2 almost makes me think along with the timing is it is being developed for the simulator and not the PC

i would say at this point with the way we got the news that JNPG is now on that far burner in the back now.

and little thought being put into it.

fine with me im still gonna have fun with it.

but till someone Official gets on here are tells us their intentions

that's bout all we can do is guess at the title of the thread.

by Official i mean someone from the now owners Tracman

as we can all pretty well see how much BS has been peddled here by a couple of other fella's.

We can speculate all day but the fact is we have no control over what happens and we might as well just play what we got and hope for the best and at this point that is better than no game at all.

It’s funny how some here always assume the worst. In other news, HB studios are starting the hype machine again for yet another version of TGC, which will undoubtedly be awesome. Just like how awesome TGC2 was. Talk about a cash cow..... lol

Does Perfect Parallel even still exist after this buyout? Maybe this forum's title will also have to change if PP is no longer relevant.

About time to hear from Andrew and update us on what is going on with this game.  Not asking for anything but an honest update on where the Dev's are.

Bet you never thought it would get this involved by just asking a simple question  :(

kinda makes me think since all the info is coming from Vance, maybe OGT also got sucked into this.

don't get me wrong would be a good thing for all involved in the simulator world.

i dont begrudge these folks one bit they got it going on, just looking for PC info

Vance,

Not sure where you are getting this idea from.

HBS has not made any announcment so your comments are premature and not exactly accurate.

For everyone that keeps trying to link this discussion back to people the value of JNPG1 you're completely missing the point.  This has nothing to do with whether or not I feel my $20 for JNPG1 was worth it.

This has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that PP said JNPG2 was coming and now they refuse to provide any information.
