Related to my post above...

 

I think the specific and very granular (too much so) "aiming pole" should also go away.

 

Having the game most accurately reflect the real life challenges of scoring well in the sport is always what I hope for.

 

It's always going to be at least a little different on a digital version, but recreating the same intellectual challenges at least should be a top goal.

 

It's a thinking game, an interpolation game and an execution game and having challenges that are analogous to the real world at each phase is really the goal I think.

Move BLI and Grid options from Player setup to Game setup, which will allow lobby games and api games to be setup with or without BLI/Grid.

 

 

Also, the ability to play PG2 with my launch monitor....

I totally agree… All these various assists should be something that can be locked out selectively by whoever is creating a round or tournament

1) Better trees and foliage.

 

2) Commentary. I know this is a difficult one. So, as a compromise, how about having the player react vocally to the behavior of the ball with simple words such as, SLOW, GET DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and so on?

 

3) Charge more for the game if you have to but make it a spectacularly attractive experience.

I think the game needs its own swing device for the gamer's and those without a space for a full simulator  to play.  Similar to this device or a partnership with them. I'm sure both companies would benefit.

Interesting... thanks for sharing the links to that "bit of kit".  :)  I had no idea that something like that existed.  It would be cool to see an *affordable* swing interface device like that, which is far more analagous to actually swinging a real club than anything we currently have among keyboards, mice, and gamepads/controllers.  If they could mesh something like that with PG 2, it would be fantastic, IMO.  I suspect though that it might not fit in with Trackman's desires.

So many great ideas listed. My standouts are (sim only player):
-Out of bounds on overhead a must
-ability to move overhead to second monitor or change its size
-physics from bunkers with ball below green need help
-pre set view when toggling C to ball cam on the ground looking up to see what is directly in front of you, can I get over that tree etc.
-scramble toggle through shots to pick one as mentioned previously
-more avatars and outfits. Sounds silly but would make it more immersive if you're getting beat by my pirate midget haha
-fix the water hazard glitch that locks up the game
-give me a way to make tall grass matter so you can't just wack a 3-wood pure from 3 foot rough at whistling straits
-putting is too easy how to make it harder for sim players
-kiwi commentary would be brilliant
- make autoputt less random I hate 3 putting from 12 feet but then draining a 60 footer
- first person view as if I'm standing where the ball is, not behind it
-ability to fade out the HUD completely for more immersion but when I toggle mouse it reappears would be epic
-more driving range options or user created range
-auto course updates

I'd like to set defaults when setting up a game. For example, I would maybe like to have Diff. Pin as my default, or fairway hardness. I want more control of my settings. Please. :)

Do away with course carousel and bring back scrolling course list
Add ability to set personal yardage distances for clubs
Improve sky colors and clouds when not using dynamic weather
Please offer early access again when game is ready

Fix the bug in Dyn. Skies that make some spline seams flicker! When Dyn Skies was first put into the game,  years ago, there was No flickering, first update changed all that. Mike knows this as he is the one who said it was a bug. Would be nice if that got fixed. :)

It would be nice to do away with the console and autoexec.cfg file; although it might be a bit of a nightmare to configure, perhaps put all of those settings/customizations into some type options/advanced settings within the game menu.

PG needs to hire, yes hire, some of the top designers here to produce what they might want to call "official" courses from all around the world.

Two things PG users struggle with are textures and 3D ojects. PG should hire, yes hire, the guys here who are experts with these things to produce them for the benefit of the community. As far as textures go, complete sets are much more valuable than single texture files. All this would be a massive boost to CF.

1. Fix the extrem long (over 50 yards and more???) and unrealistic bounces in and from the Rough Area.

2. Fix or include the possibility to play real flat shots with the wedges

Not sure if this has been mentioned and may be available in PG1 but I’m too stupid to find it, but a card of the course before you select your tees for the round. At present I’ve been going to OGT and printing the scorecards for every course in my library. As a modest standard sim player there’s no point in playing a course over 6500yards especially as I can’t use woods with the limited head room.

1. Saved Shots are great but during play back they skip a little. If that could be smoothed out it would be excellent.

 

2. A refined 3Click meter with color customization built into the game settings.

 

3. Love windowed mode. I hope to see that in JNPG2.

Also fix the moronic putting in replayed games.  The golfer stays straight to the pin no matter what angle the putt is.  What is that all about?

think many have closed down there steam access as it 

seems recorded rounds slow the game a bit. i noticed a big change when i threw out a batch i had in my folder

and turned off seeing others ingame.
