Why do you think you would have any entitlement to receive a statement?

This is business stuff, all you did was buying a licence that gave you the right to play the game. It didn't make you an owner of the company. As long as you are no owner or employee of the company you have no rights except playing the game and using PP's Servers.

Don't get me wrong, I also want to know how it will go on here, but if Andrew keeps his mouth shut we all have to accept that. It is HIS decision.

Because that’s what I would do and it would be the decent thing to do. They would soon enough ask for your input if it suited them.

as far as we all know, the contracts don't allow Andrew to give any statement. So you would breach a contract and probably loose all your money just to post an information for some people that don't accept a no?

Sorry but Andrew would be an idiot if he would do that :D

I’m not sure that we know what their contracts say. I don’t know why you would say I wouldn’t accept a no! I couldn’t give a toss if it’s yes or no to be honest.

How would you call it if the same people keep posting the same stuff in every single thread which is opened here every 2 months about VM2, future of PP, future of PG etc.? Maybe I'm wrong, not sure, could be the language problem that I missunderstand some of the posts people make here. But asking for information in every single thread seems to me like some people simply don't accept a no. Maybe not you personally, but some people here simply don't accept that Andrew and Mike keep their mouths shut.

Well, that’s the way it’s come across to me, but, if there are ‘other factors’ at work just tell us. Even an ‘I’m not sure’, would be a response and adequate but just to ignore the repeated requests for a little information I consider to be rude.

I’m assuming that those are Mike’s words above when he says ‘general criticism’, but what does he expect?

What I can’t figure out is why Mike asked for input and ideas for the next iteration of PG and then just pull the plug?

Andrew said when asked if he could give a definitive answer as to whether PG2 will be released on PC:

"As soon as we know, I am sure we will. "

So you have your "I'm not sure".

If a revision to that hasn't been received, then they are still not sure. Does Andrew need to come in every month and say "Still not sure."?

Mike would have had good intentions about the next iteration of PG but things don' t always go to plan.

Neither Mike nor Andrew have been on this forum to explain the chain of events, from asking for input for PG2 to pulling the plug almost instantly. I must have hit the nail on the head when I pointed this out as I was placed on moderator approval twice.
Anyway, no need for further explanation as I am done with this forum, as their seems no point in sticking around anymore.

Textures and course design does look nice... but those trees look like the static trees from Links!   Yikes...

Maybe it's my default video card settings or my monitor (plasma TV), but it appears that everything is too green.  Tree trunks, rocks, building, cars ... they all have a green tinge to them (some more than others).   Is that "over-saturated" or is it just on my end?

Color debates aside...the rocks and all the work around transitions between surfaces and materials looks totally awesome I think

I've said this in the past, there is NOTHING in that screenshot that we can't do except for the new lighting a newer version of Unity gets them. If you have the time to put those rocks there in our version then it will look exactly the same except our version will be a tad lighter but even WE can turn up the light and over saturate if we want.

VG2 is nothing but JNPG ported over to a newer unity engine with maybe a few enhancements but I bet only a few...............................................

You guys really need to quit sucking up to a port job and new name.

Jeez man

Maybe a touch of an overreaction?

I was simply appreciating a beautiful shot of what looks like a very well done course!

Well now -- here's a very impressive visual teaser for perhaps Pebble Beach?

Probably Suimono or just an improved version of their ocean shader. Unity can be pretty good when you can use scripts and newer assets.

I play PG a few times a week and I think I would be more excited about course forge 2 than I would about perfect golf 2!
