Teddy,

The brightness of that 66 at SH is really hurting my eyes - can you do something about that mate? (jk - great round).

I've stared at it for so long that I have retinal damage.

Nice round.

71 even par            @ a gusty Crystal Pines

Eagled the last to whip the round into shape. I find that a tough track.

Round 1: IL 69 (-2) MS, BLI, Easy pins.

Was a great round....started making some putts recently after I set my short game sensitivity. Hit 79% of the fairways which I think helped a lot.

Round 2: IL 71 (E) MS, BLI, Medium pins.Again hit 79% of fairways, but only 61% of my greens in regulation so my short game saved me. Still struggling with chipping...especially if i'm not in the first cut.

Hi Ted, can I play 2 rounds on one course and 2 on another or do they all have to be on different courses?

I stunk up Mass. with a 92.  31% FIR and 17%GIR.  Since I couldn't hit anything straight, halfway through the back 9, I just started hooking and fading the ball using the mouse swing.  Didn't help any, but at least it didn't get any worse.

Reynhardt_p2  (nice scores).....

You can play any course at any time. If you want to concentrate on one course you can play it over and over but you only need to submit your best score. Your best score remains on the scoreboard. There's no order that needs to be followed. It means you can go back to a course where you didn't score well and have a mini-comp with yourself to beat that score

So the competition is perennial (or maybe until a major update). Once a player has submitted scores for all the courses then they'll go onto the leaderboard from the scoreboard.

I love rules.

Once you have posted a score at every course, you will become a member. Your special introductory prize is....

A membership number

A position on the leaderboard

and various other stats.

Willow Heath 73 (+1)

Usual settings with breeze. Didn't like some of the pin positions. Sure the greens were flatter. I don't object to undulatin greens but I don't like the fiddly 4 putts when the pin is on a severe slope after playing a decent approach, but that's just my opinion. Apart from the 7 on a par 4 this was a decent round. 28 putts doesn't sound too bad overall. So many scary ones though made it feel worse.

Teddy,

There is a scoring bug at TCP Boston, hole #14, that gave credit for a birdie when you really shot par.  It appears that this has been fixed today, as the course now plays at 72. Probably best for everyone to double check their own scores for accuracy.

So...my total against par (8 courses) would be Even (not -1). Teddy, I think you would be at -2 (not -3).

All course are par 72, except CP & Ill (par 71).

Teddy,

I just confirmed that #14 now plays and adds properly.

Before, it would total up your score at 1 stroke less than actual.  If you went through the score card and manually added the strokes, you would get the correct number ( I knew this at the time I played). Sorry I didn't pass this along.

Teddy,

Now that we've finished the 8 courses - what do you and I play next. Replay a course for a better score?
