I cannot got the colors to change.  Here is my autoexec.cfg file:

--cam_sensX=.5
--cam_sensY=0.2
--cam_forwardSpeed=2
--cam_sideSpeed=1
--cam_upSpeed=.1
--game_upColor=181,171,29,199
--game_downColor=14,103,17,199

I can tell you why they won't change. You have to change the numbers, those numbers you posted here are the default numbers in the game. Here is what my config file shows but I only changed the up color and the forward cam speed.

--cam_sensX=.5
--cam_sensY=0.2
--cam_forwardSpeed=5
--cam_sideSpeed=1
--cam_upSpeed=.1
--game_upColor 0,255,0,199

If you copied and pasted this in your config file you would get a slightly faster forward cam and only the up color would change to a lighter green. Video here showing what I have mine set to look like.

I think I got my beautiful bright yellow up and green down from IanD's post-

It reminds me of the Links 2k3 fill color. Thanks Ian!

I have tried everything I can think of, including all of the previous suggestions,

and still my swing meter colors do not change.

Here is my autoexec.cfg file:

--cam_sensX=.5
--cam_sensY=0.2
--cam_forwardSpeed=5
--cam_sideSpeed=1
--cam_upSpeed=.1
--game_upColor 0,255,255,100
--game_downColor 255,255,0,100

Here is my autoexec.cfg from the main page of JNPG:

And here it is from the first tee of Florida Glades:

Everything looks right in your file make sure it's in the right place. And you named it autoexec.cfg And saved it as all files.

On my laptop, my Steam install is on my 2nd SSD which is my D:

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config

When I open this location there is no autoexec.cfg file present. It is just full of PG's MOP files

I created an autoexec.cfg file with colours I wanted and saved in in this location. Boot game, but still get the default yellow and green combo.

Anyone any suggestions how I get this to work? Does it only work if Steam installed in default C: location?

Daz,  You and I are in the same boat.  Does your autoexec look like mine, as far as the commands go?

In post #1 Z-Max states the file is called autoexec.cfg and IDS called it autoexe.cfg in post #46

I've tried both and neither work. It does however cause my FPS to be dragged down to around 22 or less wherever I go.

I can only think it is because my Steam install is not in the default Program Files (x86) hierachy on the C: as I have it installed on my D; on my 2nd SSD. Hey-ho, I'll go with the yellow and green.

The name of mine and does work is autoexec.cfg in post #46 I left off the c oops, below is what is in it. I was reading up on creating a autoexec.cfg file and it says to make sure you save it as all files. I'm not sure if that will make a difference, but what I did was I downloaded the cam file that Mike posted and I put my game color text in it and then renamed it autoexec.cfg and then saved it as all files and it worked. Good luck guys hope this helps.

Oh yeah. Windows has that horrible habit of "Hiding known file extensions" like that's going to help anyone. Tres, your file is prolly called autoexec.cfg.txt. :(. Save your file as all files

Great spot Art.

Double-checked my filename and it was saved as autoexec.cfg.cfg

Removed the .cfg suffix to leave autoexec.cfg and next time game booted, meter has my colours.

Thanks one and all.

In the Config folder, mine says:  autoexec.cfg

I use notepad for my edits, and now save as:  all files

Opacity setting.  Can opacity be set higher for less transparency (darker), or is 199 the maximum setting?

255 is 100% opacity.

Also, someone above mentioned case sensitivity, I'm not seeing it. Using all lowercase and works fine.
