I might be mistaken but I thought in one of there twitch videos many months ago that they already paid for the mo caps..it was way into the hundred of thousands of dollars..

IIRC, the guys at PP paid a company to do some Mo-Cap using Web.com pro Jake Scott. They did all the whacky ball suit stuff and then the company tasked with the job lost the data. That was the end of that.

CF will be a separate download a bit later. Rio should be in your game. Reboot Steam and see if that takes care of it.

Just played Rio. Great course. Shame you can't see the mountains in the distance except on a few holes.

When it's ready you will need to add CF to your Unity install.

It is totally separate from the game. CF is an asset package that you load in to Unity. Without Unity you can't use CF.

I like the Rio course.  Tough with all those precipitous slopes off the greens.  I need to practise.  :o

I think the course rendition was nicely done.  I'm just not a huge fan of the course layout itself.  The greens can be interesting but other than that it's like one big gigantic fairway with a few bunkers splattered around.

Having said that... I shot even par on my first round so it's not like it's super easy or anything.

I shot -10 on the first round at Rio while almost falling asleep.  By far the worst course in the game.  I uninstalled mine never to fall asleep playing it again.

Love the Rio course. Don't know how any one can think that course is boring.

I too like the course. Plays difficult if you use hard firmness and 12 or 13 stimp, as it is links style, and takes some planning of aproach shots.

Thanks to perfect golf for giving us a new course and a freebie too...

The problem is with the limited draw distance in game, the hills cut off and look terrible. I have asked that the draw distance be extended up to 25k for those that want to play the course as intended. There is no performance hit as the distance hills do not have enough mesh density to cause an issue. It's a game issue rather than a course issue which will hopefully be resolved soon.

Would love to see the isle of Arran/Ailsa Craig off the coast of Royal Troon if this draw distance was extended

thumbs up for the new 'plugged' physics ... works well in cutting down the distance hit :)
