It was a pleasure watching you play Terry. Some great approach shots with beautiful draw. It was only those hiccups on 16 & 17 that prevented an excellent low round.

I did my usual "Scramblin' Man" routine and somehow went lower. I don't know how.

I did some advanced scouting for the Final Round.

Just played Bandon Dunes with Gusty wind, Dificult pins, Stimp 13, Real greens, Normal fairway and greens.  Only real change was 2 ft gimmies.

 

Shot a -3 with 5 birdies, 1 bogie, and 1 double bogie (lip-out on a pin cut into a sloped hill).  No real dangers from OB: some Dificult pins cut into sloped hills.  I think 2 ft gimmies are a must for the non-3C players ( at least 5 pins will lip-out).  Will need to practice at Stimp 13 to get the slow green of Rounds 1-4 out of your system.  Very undulating fairways and greens.  I think this would make a great Final.

I'm a sick man and like the Kansas Twister setup.  I like those settings and a course like that is meant to play with some wind and dry conditions so the stimp is good.  I really think we need to go to 2ft gimmies all the time as there can be some wiffs out there with the realtime swing and it moves play along faster as my caddie Leonard and I detest slow play as we have to deal with it in real life golf.  That setup will be a good test for all.

As soon as LLT completes one of his team's "half" scores, we can open up Round 3.

Armand and JC can catch-up this weekend.

apologies for my tardiness everyone - I have big game issues; my game keeps crashing every 2 or 3 holes and I've recorded my last round at Pacific Dunes for Alan at least 3 times but it hasn't recorded!!

I'll try to at least get one more Vs round results up in a couple of hours...

My work schedule has been brutal this week.  I tried to play one round with Armand's recorded player and had to leave the game after 12 holes.  I left the game up, hoping to finish the 18 hole round after I got home from work the next morning.  When I got home, I guess the slow memory leak did it in... I had to reboot my computer. I've got a lot to catch up on and will get a chance to do so starting tomorrow afternoon.

Standings haven't changed much from Round 1, except Alan has jumped out to a comanding lead in Flight B.

Flight B:  Ted jumps to 3rd and closes in on Remers.

I was able to play my first round with Armand's recorded round today and complete it this time... however, in my haste to get it done, I exited the scorecard screen before grabbing a screenshot.  I shot an even par round of 72.  This has been a rough week for me work schedule wise, and I haven't been long on smarts in what little bit of off time I've had.

 

I uploaded my recorded round to the proper FRET 2 folder.
