Alan - the post at the top of page 7 indicated that the card (a -3 and -4) was for Pebble. Is the correct?
LLT probably played your recorded Pebble, and posted the card. John

Ok cool, I didn't mess up. Your team can finish either PB or TP for you Round 1. John

Ted - I don't know how you managed to keep up with all of these little details through FRET_I. Thanks again for indulging me an idea! John

- just played Stones round at Torrey; same thing didn't find a fairway until the 12 hole. Half my approaches end in greenside bunkers.
Long irons are my downfall. It's purely psychological. I believe they aren't going straight at the pin and therefore they don't. I'm still struggling with my swing. RTS-M is such a tough nut to crack and hold on to. I think I've got it sussed and then it goes wobbly again. The thing is I know what I'm doing wrong but unfortunately it's after the fact. I'm self-coaching which is like voices in the head but I think I may have finally found the secret - and I'm not telling.

Wow what a marathon at Torrey Pines and might say that the course is off my hard drive for now. First off it happened again as on number 16 I had a 8 inch putt for Par and it goes in and the next screen is my guy holding a wedge on the hole and well I knew right then it was going to be ugly as there has to be a bug on that hole as I deleted the course and reinstalled and still the same problem. So I was not going to start over again so I had to figure a way to get the ball to stay in the hole and get to the next tee without starting over and 35 shots later I chipped it in as going off the green was the only way to do it. One of the benefits of having gimmies on at 2 ft is so this wont happen as its happened to others in the past and I would suggest in future events that the gimmie be set to at least a foot. Anyway this score wont be used for me as my other round was better but if you give me the par which I had it would give me a 76 and that is what I am doing as I am not playing the round again or putting a 107 down. Really love that course and Ian played a good round but even he had some funky things happen as on my screen is 2nd shot into 18 appeared to go underground and his 2nd putt was a total shank to the left which seem wierd. Below is scoring and please dont use Torrey Pines for final round.
Gboro +4 76 or 107 to make the dang game finish
Ian -2 70

LLT recorded vs AlanR54NC live: Pebble Beach Half
Tale of two 9's. Both of us played great on the front 9, both of us under par. Unfortunately on the back nine, LLT could not buy a putt and I was able to maintain the lead. (not to mention a couple of long lucky putts for me)
LLT - 75
Alanr54nc - 63

Round for myself and Greens.... at Torrey Pines.. We both had some excellent fun on the front 9 and were playing quite well. Unfortunately, some short putts and the dreaded 'UNrealistic' curse kicked in a few times too. The last 2-3 holes saw me lose touch with the game... a plugged lie, which I hit perfectly on snap, managed to carry 2yds and roll backwards in the bunker I was in. How do you get a decent shot with a plugged lie...do you really have to miss the snap late..?
Greens, it went a little weird for me after that, as your guy on the green made some right angl putts and kept going back and forth between the putting and a rough lie. You weren't in rough howver...but somehow the ball simply dropped under the mesh and into a cup... weird..!

Might have been the California grass.
It was very admirable that you persevered guys. Strange things have happened to me with recordings. But generally it's wonderful.
Your 107 has been stricken from the books G and it doesn't matter because Ian's scorecard is better anyway.

I'm in a stick spot with my work schedule this week. I only have a 45 minute window to play through Friday afternoon. Played 12 of my recorded team round with Armand at Torrey today and had to leave it up, hoping I'll be able to complete it when I get home in the AM. I'll have some time to get caught up on Saturday and Sunday though.

No problem at all JCat. I won't finish my rounds till the weekend.

G - had an oddity at Torrey also - on one of the front par 3's, my 3C meter started by itself. Completed the shot and left me way off the green. I don't think its the course, I think there are still some random "bugs" within the PG engine. A 76 it is then. Good round Ian.
Ian & G - see both of your Torrey cards are up. This will be posted as Round 2. Good scores gents!
Alan & LLT - got your Pebble card. Outstanding round Alan! This will be your Round 1.
Sam & Ted - got your Pacific Dunes card. Another outstanding pair - -4 and -5, wtg! Your team is good through Round 2.
JC - Ted can put you in a virtual rain delay and have you go out this weekend to play 36 or 54 holes to catch up. That way we can open up Round 2 to the other Teams. When you finish the rest of Torrey, post the card.
I'll post a new scoreboard, with Round 2 showing, when I get home.

great lesson in scrambling Ted well played, you seem to be improving with each game, if I could putt we would have a great score, I prefer faster greens 12 stimp and above
Yeah Terry - I've had to make a real effort to change my thinking to the 10 stimp after playing most of my rounds at 12. Those long uphill putts at 10 are mind-boggling.

OK everyone - below is the Team, Flight A, and Flight B standings after Round 1, with one pending score from Team Armand & JCat04.
Team Play - Joe & Remers are out front, closely followed by Alan & LLT and IanD & Greens.
Flight A - JMK59 is out front, closely followed by Joe and IanD.
Flight B - Alan has jumped to the lead, followed by Remers and Greens.
Ted's format on the front page is layed out a bit different than mine, but it looks soooo much nicer.
I'll post the progress, with Round 2 opened up, shortly.

Green, Ted - I think for the Final Round stimp 12 should be the minimum.
Attached is Team JMK & Stone's first partial card at Torrey.
