Does anyone know if Trackman has a community/forums/etc?

I sort of get this feeling that one day I'll come to log on and I'll get a server error here as they will have consolidated any support/discussions to their own forums - perhaps even registered Sim owner/user only forums?

I feel the same Daz. The owners of the game can't be bothered so why should we?
There is nothing to talk about anymore and I'm fed up with endless speculation.

Yea - I'm with you guys unfortunately.  I'll check in from time to time to see if anything is happening but until then there's little reason to post here.  The devs have completely checked out - maybe for good reason, maybe not but my time is better spent elsewhere.

First of all. Thank you for showing up in a thread and I apologize if you posted in any of the other threads that I didn't see. I only got a computer powerful enough to run this game not to long ago. Before that I was stuck on Links. Anyway, I keep reading all of these threads here about this game being sold. Would you humor me and confirm or deny. Please don't say you can neither confirm or deny. Please tell it to us straight. What is the skinny of PG2? I don't have an agenda, I'm not even very good at this game. It seems a lot more difficult than Links. I don't play online because quite frankly I play so bad that I would be embarrassed. I don't really know anything about The Golf Club other than they won't offer a 3 click and I can't seem to master swinging with that stick. I would love to try this game in VR (I only own the Samsung Gear). I think that it would help us a all a lot if you would post a little bit more. Well I guess I can only speak for myself.  I hope that you are having a great day....Bob

We'd all love to have you "think out loud" a bit...

Perhaps some reassurance about PG1/2 on the PC for non Simulator input methods?

:D

Interestingly, for a "dead" game, PGLS is enjoying more and more players participating and the event numbers are still actually increasing a little, certainly not on the downward slope.

I can't comment on OGT numbers, I don't know, but hope the same can be said. These 2 sites have done brilliantly in giving us players reason for continuing to play each week.

Would still be interesting to hear some news, but I for one am still happy playing the tournaments set up each week.

The only thing that keeps me a bit hopeful is the fact that PG1 was clearly a labour of love for Mike and Andrew.

I think it's more like a pain in the **** now.

The Golf Club doesn't offer 3 click and that is a huge reason why I don't play it. They have also decided to never implement it. So, I will always play JNPG until something better comes along. Plus the courses here look nice. I honestly don't know what improvements that they can make. Except maybe require me to buy a more powerful computer, again.

I'm wondering the same thing, but I hope not. I get it that people get burned out, but if that be the case maybe someone else can pick it up.

Mike how about a nice clear answer instead of a smart remark after such a long absence from this forum. We, who have stuck by PP from the beginning desire better imho. Where is PP going with PG???

They have not said that.

It just won't be in TGC 2019.

I don't know how the OGT PC Tour is going, but I can tell you that in the last 10 weeks, OGT's simulator tour has grown by 96 members whereas TGC's sim tour by 86.

Now that's with PG doing very little advertising - it's nearly all word of mouth, yet TGC has what appears like an unbiased forum, the top simulator forum in google searches, grabbing all the noobs. It also bans software comparisons, censors JNPG and has banned about 30 JNPG players. Even an obvious connected forum like PP's doesn't censor TGC stuff. The long time TGC players are flocking over to JNPG - despite having paid up to a $1000 for TGC, plus JNPG's sim tour isn't even free like TGC's. I agree, the game is anything but dead.

Things sound pretty great for the future of the Simulator users...

Hope there's a little love left for the rest of the user base at some point..
