I remember a course in TGC where there were a couple of animated horses about 5 yards from the tee box and saw this again from the same designer on a You Tube video of one his 2K21 courses.  Another course in TGC had a hydro dam a few yards from the tee box or green (can't remember which).  Seriously?

the difference is anyone can make a course over at TGC. the same does not hold true here.  lots of junk to sort through at TGC where no real testing before a course is admitted for play.

The biggest mistake PP made was not coming up with a console version of PG as I suspect the majority of people who play computer golf games do it on a console.

In my opinion, the biggest mistake was abandoning a half baked game and not coming close to finishing it.   It is playable sure, but certainly needs a lot more to compete in the console market.   The game would have never gotten near the ok from MS and Sony for their consoles, especially in its current state..

15% off, right on schedule.  Half off sales should be on the horizon I'd gather.

I saw this comic somebody made - too funny  :D

Wow

What are they drinking up in Nova Scotia these days

This "update" is not landing well with people who want bugs and issues addressed (hard to blame them - I'd be pissed too).

The usual vague "updates" also were posted on the TGCTours forum:

Added audio adjustments in PGA TOUR Career.
Fixed UI related issues.
Addressed concerns related to Online Societies.
Addressed reported concerns related to crashing problems.
Addressed stuttering and framerate drop issues.
Added performance and stability improvements.
Other minor fixes.

Think so far it has only hit Xbox & PS4.

I can confirm these ‘additions’ are genuine. What an absolute joke!

What is it with developers of golf titles?

Thanks for the info.  If and when realize how many thousands of customers they are losing and incorporate a 3click meter, I will buy it.  It's fun having Links 2003, Tiger Woods PC PGA 2008 and Perfect Golf 2014.  Plenty of room on the C:Drive for another golf game. :)

How can here be thousands playing 3C when at PG there is one tournament site and they can't get 75 players. In the TGCC Beer league alone there are 950 registered and the field before cuts last week was around 300 and you can only play one tour and there are at least a dozen at TGCC. I have said it before and once again 3C is done in video golf and you will never see another game with it. The develop for the masses today and that's the controller and played 3C for many years but have now moved on.

I don't know..

I'd be surprised if 3C is truly done forever.

It has a usefulness and appeal in a golf game that I can understand (but not really personally enjoy myself).

They were still offering 3C in Rory and if EA ever did another one (which I do not rule out - at all), I could see them having a 3C option of some kind.

Will HB ever offer it though?

Probably not.

Honestly, HB has enough issues just putting out games that function completely and correctly, as advertised, as it is right now (at least based upon what I read online).

The last thing HB needs is another swing method to worry about and further complicate things for themselves.

Let's face it HB have never had the talent to carry off a great golf game, since game one many have asked for things to improve the game and nothing gets done, their lack of a lobby is shameful for a top dollar game and the performance dependent timing is a massive mistake, you can tell if you play a course that is sparsely planted then immediately play a course that is heavily planted, with the former you can swing quite relaxed and hit perfects but when playing the latter you have to be a bit more forceful with the swing or you hit slows.  There is no consistency in their timing aspect when its linked to performance.  Now we have bullshit items added to the game whilst issues remain, i quit playing 2 weeks ago and i see no reason to return.

If only a few more things had been completed, a face slapped on it and the OK gotten.

Not true.

If Links 2003 can still have a dedicated website, LSPN, with dedicated players then I see no reason PG can not be around a very long time also.Attached File  80 Players.png   83.91KB   0 downloads

That must depend on the particular objects and colliders.
I don’t experience the ball going through things very often in PG (honestly can’t remember the last time and I play every night)

Totally agree. It is all about fit.

I completely concede that PG is very inadequate for many uses and content gameplay types, however if it does fit for what you’re looking for… It is a spectacular golf game… Again if it fulfills your precise requirements.
