Anti Cheat Mouse Perfect Golf

I have read in another thread that the RTS-C doesn't even have mishit at all. Is that right? At least it is a source of penalty the controller users don't have to worry about.

For mouse swing: it's not so much a problem of a straight swing plane. This is achievable with a good amount of practice. It's more about the mishit (heel/toe). If one gets a 0 mishit regularly it's fishy because with a sensitive mouse this is very hard to do regularly. There should be the main focus of the anti-cheat.

I agree Frank,. Both anti cheats never really affected my game play. Good Mouse sensitivity will not let you hit a perfect shot. Human nature kicks in and we all try to hit str8 as we should. Its just when we fool ourselves into thinking were really good when the $10 HP mouse lets us hit 6 out of 10 zero plane and axis. I'm not blaming anyone either
I was straight edging my mouse one day to try to get a perfect shot to get a good sense of distance of my clubs in the driving range. My son walked by and said Dad that's cheating isn't it. I had to explain why but ultimately I had to say yes son it is.
I play a good game and the anti cheat never really affected my play. A .25 ratio and 1 degree off plane in Tour Pro puts me close to the yardage markers on the driving range. ( which i equate is close to 50' off aim) with a driver) So many times though i get lucky and say a .26 ratio (fade) and a 1 degree out to in (draw) brings me back closer to center. But that,s just luck for me and i cant do if i tried. I know if I use my HP mouse i will lose interest quickly and not play PG for long. OGT, PGLS and Ted Ball naked golf do a good job trying to mix up the wind, firmness, stimp and difficulty factor to keep us off guard. But that's not their job either. It puts them in an adversarial role and pisses people off. They just try to run a tournament site for us to have a good healthy fair competition and get publicly bashed at times. If you catch someone cheating and ban them you get trolled until death. Unfortunately the Forum allows it also. Its not that you have to love everything they do but at least people should be civil about it.
No one will ever agree all the time, and Zero plane all the time is unfair.

I agree with everything you said JTee.
This is my mouse:
http://www.hardwarel...lm30-mouse.html
It's a german product and this is the only english review i have found. The sensitivity is really high (up to 16.400 dpi). So this mouse probably doesn't count to the "zero-axis-mouses". What do you think Jtee?

I see 3C players at the top of leaderboards at PR and TP. I am also a 3C player. I have wondered, "are they actually 3clickers or are they using a controller?".
The Big Question: Does the API and/or JNPG detect swing types?

I believe that Zmax has said that the swing type is automagically detected and posted.

Yes it detects swing types and reports what type they used for any specific event next to their event stats. Individual players cant change their swing type that's reported. What you see is what they used.

I do not believe that is the case whatsoever.

Your a funny man tlvx , EVERYONE on TeamSpeak KNOW OF YOUR cheating ways, i didn't even say your name in a discussion on TeamSpeak, i just said "iv just played this guy who hit every shot straight" they all started laughing and said "ya that will be tlvx we all know about his straight hitting that's why he won't be allowed to play in tours" and that's god's honest truth, i wasn't the only guy who heard this ask fishwicket he was there too.
Please take your personal issue with TLVX to PM or somewhere else. No one cares about this but you (and possibly him but I doubt that he does either).

I do not believe that is the case whatsoever.
I meant heel/toe mishits.
No matter what: If everybody would use a xbox controller we wouldn't have this discussion.
I hope my mouse is okay and has no "dead zone". Looking at the technical specifications I am pretty sure it is okay. But i certainly don't want to use equipment that gives me an advantage.

Not sure about that, but I think mis-hits are there, just handled somewhat differently since the controllers do not have a .25 tempo element. There is the challenge of hitting straight which is significantly more important for the controller than the RTS-M and the Tempo is the most important challenge in RTS-M unlike RTS-C which has a timing element to it, but nowhere near as penal as Temp is in RTS-C. Hope that makes sense.

Ok I have to chime in. The Anti cheat Might not have done what it was suposed to, But It Obviously showed some people were hitting it on path.. Huh.. I thought that was Exactly what I was trying to acheive when playing golf. I started Rts-m months ago, and boy what a strugle It has been. I am finally getting to a point where I can break par at pro( yeay me). I spent months trying to learn how to hit it straight using the windows paint program. With mouse not only do you have to have the perfect tempo, path and mouse orientation also made what i thought was a straight shot veer off and slice or hook. I also used friends to help try to dial in my settings. Most people I know use gaming mice. Mine however was a $10 mouse bought to replace my dell stock mouse that I was told to throw away because it reaimed me when trying to 3 click during the 3 click process. hah that was bull...... any way.If I am being told now that because I bought a stock mouse at 1000 dpi It is causing me to have an advantage I call bull^&%$ !!!!!!!! I have no software I can use to help me dial in my swing. I rely soley on game sliders and the windows mouse setting which I have on 3rd setting..... In doing so I have made it so my full swing is only about 2 inches or so. hate to burst bubbles here guys but not that difficult to move the mouse straight for 2 inches with a relitively quick swing....If Some one wants to tell me that the adjustments I made after many driving range hours and paint program training sessions are causing me to hit straight all the time I will just go back to 3 click. I will stand by my adjustments and settings and scream from the mountain top that I can hit on path about half the time on the range. Would love to hear game developer input on this subject as they must have had some thought when designing the rts mouse swing and codeing for it...

corsair sabre rgb here - from what i can see it has no prediction or acceleration, but does have some ripple?? on some mouse pads - be interested if you can help me find out if this is accurate Jeff?
Its an excellent sensor and is used by some that are on the list i posted. So acceleration and prediction is not affecting your mouse.

Is all i can say is what happens with my $10 cheap mouse and gaming mice. You'll have to be your own judge of whats going on with yours.
When looking up each sensor and seeing the difference in tolerances. Then i looked up the meaning and effects these tolerances make on the outcome of my movement. I sat in on a Professor speaking online on what all the mouse properties do. Prediction, acceleration, lift off, tracking speed, skipping speed, lag/delay, jitter, smoothing, pixel walk, pixel skipping. My understanding of all this says my $10 mouse reads straight due to the tolerance error first then possibly prediction and acceleration built in.
Again no dog in the fight here was just asked to help test anti cheat and then did some research to make an educated decision. These are my findings, The paint program and the driving range stats shows a visual result that agrees with all the tolerance differences from the specs of the sensors.

This is exactly why I posted a link to the reddit Perfect Golf subreddit ages ago in the Augusta thread. Anything goes, no mods that I know of. Should be more fun than actually playing.
Face it, it's good to get it off your chest sometimes. Comic relief for the rest of us.

3-click only (tour pro) tour please!! I almost never see unrealistic scoring or stats with tour pro 3-click players.
Maybe
