To my opinion the first version of the game isn't completed at all..... but then I will probably wait to see what looks like Perfect Golf 2.

- Much betters graphics, roughs 3d...etc etc....

- Multiple avatars with full customisation.

- Career Mode with full customisation.

- Basic commentary.

- Updated Wildlife's around the golf course, make the course more alive.

- More details around the course.

- Have more the feel of Nicklaus in the game, maybe one avatar of a late career Nicklaus with his abilities at that time. Having him saying some of the commentary on the course...

- Stop to release course all the time and work on the game first .....

I must say I am totally disappointed with perfect golf and the progress that has been done for the last 2 years, it's not up to par. The game is not fun to play simply...and If I could.. I would have get a refund... Pictures has been showed... months in advances that never came in the game....

May I ask what golf game made up to this date is better than PG?

Online MP typically makes up 10-15% of the userbase in Golf games.

Not saying that is the number for PG, but online MP is not exclusively the "real community" in any Golf game.

In my own personal opinion, if we make the multiplayer game compelling enough and make the online/offline gameplay seamless there is no reason why we couldn't have a 90%+ multiplayer experience. If we manage to pull that off we would truly have created something special with longevity too.

There are many huge games with 100% multiplayer participation in fact that is the reason for their success. I have a bunch of ideas about how we can advance the multiplayer experience while at the same time fix some of the things that stop people playing multiplayer golf in the first place. (not talking about an internet connection here as almost every gamer has some sort of broadband internet connection)

Spot on Mike multiplayer is the key i believe.

can't wait to see what kind of multiplayer excitement you will create.

now im not saying i want another EA but if you guys could get the amount of people on PC that they had going on with TWO

i bet it would change all you're lives. you never had a hard time finding a game on that one they also had the sync play.

i like the other better but it needs to be played in a timely manner.

thanks again for the great post

nice to know what you folks are striving for.

Would love to see that Mike.

I have always thought golf games should have 90+% online play, but no one has been as he to get close to that unless it is a game like WGT which I'm s online only, yet you have to be rich to afford all the DLC which is the only way you can compete.

I was never a fan of fast play in Links 2003. And I will not be a fan of fast play in the new PG game. I never quite understood the attraction. People saying online play is the way to go but they want to have a group all playing their own balls on their own screens. That is not social multiplayer golf, in my opinion. And adding live voice chat to that mix sounds like a head exploding cluster f***. So what is the purpose of fast play, except for the decrease in time required? Sorry, I just don't get it.

Just one opinion.

If these forums are good for anything.. they have shown that there are many varying opinions on how people will choose to play the game. I think PP has done a great job giving people options to play as they wish. What we have to realize is the number of people, here in this forum ,is way to small to get accurate feedback for future decisions on game play . Game designers and owners can only do so much ,  It is up to the community and individual user to take what they put out there and Use it as they wish... You will always get groups of people that have different views and opinions on what the game should, would, or could be.. any golf game I have ever played has had a community divided based on  difficulty levels and or swing type  Some joined groups for the tournament play and some joined groups based soley on the people that they enjoyed playing non tournament rounds in multi player. think of all the groups there were on "Two" If you joined a group and didn't like the people you joined another group.. some people used team speak and some used ventrillo or skype...I am not a big fan of fantasy courses but that doesn't mean that there is not a place for them.  It all boils down to different strokes for different folks. Mike or Andrew have stated that they would like to try to get simultaneous multi player in as well as turn based. More options to choose from and neither one is better or worse, just different.. I can only applaud Andrew and mike for giving us all the options that they have....

I don't agree with most of what he said but your reply is just going to start a fight in which no one will ever win.

in all aspects of play. they have the social site they ought to put it to work in the next version.

I would mostly agree with that, but I think that is the point Mebby is making.

Totally agree! Looking forward to a more and better multi-player experience with JNPG.

Not that it matters .... I know of 3 current players who because of rural living only have and only get DSL.  The surprising thing is we can play a 3 team 6 person multiplayer alt shot stroke match with all three DSL players in the game w/o a problem.  I say PG has a pretty good handle on the multiplayer experience now.

i also believe a huge draw at TWO was the daily tourneys i know it was for me, when that game closed i was ranked 8th

in the world for live tourney winnings, and to be honest it was not because i was a super good player of that game. it was more because i played every tourney every day, and daily in the leaderboards where a lot of folks who where regulars they did 8/10 tourneys a day.

also a daily tourney for the groups really brought people in.

i know daily tourneys sound like a pain in the butt, but i bet the devs could train a couple of their testers

to set them up if he could find some willing to take the time, if not there are many of us here that could be trained to do it.

For me, I tend to dip in from time to time when I get an urge to play a round or even a few holes and think that a number of others do much the same. Flexibility is the key to a successful game experiance and franchise and the balance between the offline game, mostly single player and the online multiplayer is a difficult point.

A number of games have the balance too much towards the online multiplayer and I only hope that this isnt the case for PG2

don't think they intend on changing much as it is now you guys that like solo play will always

have that ability. TBH i think it takes online multiplayer to push a game like this. also a dip and an urge

is not what makes a game like this work it takes constant players. without MP there would be a lot less people on this game because for some of us the game is a big part of our social lives. like me im disabled i can only take maybe 20 minutes on my feet without a sit down, so im home a lot and i don't want a bunch of friends over all the time, would much rather deal with the folks in the game using teamspeak, you guys that have never tried a golf game using voice chat just don't know what you are missing.

we also need a strong MP in this game to bring in the bucks for the devs to be able to keep

making it better.

pretty much a reality i believe.

I would say that all around options Links still superior to perfect golf or Tiger Woods PC 2008 ...... Graphics and details should be aim at rory mcilroy pga tour as I honesty think details and graphics are very nice.

Have to be honest, I agree...  I do enjoy PG but with Links, even though outdated and not as nice looking as PG, it just has everything built into it out of the box and then some.  There is something for everyone.   I understand that back then, there were no "work in progress" games, but if people are going to ask that very question, you will get an answer.   That answer is all based on opinion anyway, so the only thing that matters is what you think is the best game out there.
