Well shot another round tonight and not as good as first round but I kept some stats and here it goes.  40-37=77 +5 Min aids 10/7 Breezy with BLI and easy pins.  I hit a grand total of 7 Fairways and 6 Greens and in any type of golf that sucks but the good news is I hit way worse than I did for the 75 but my short game saved me the whole round.  This game will make you work for what you shoot and tonight was a real grinder type of round.  If I learn to keep the ball in the short stuff I might shoot pretty low as I sure have had a lot of sand and short wedges out of the tall stuff practice.  Will try again tomorrow and for the record I am set at 1.10 on the mouse and am still wavering on going back to 1.20 but for now will stay where I am.  Have large mouse pad coming in mail tomorrow also as seem to be running out of pad to much. lol.  Love this game tho I sure wish we would get a few more courses as it getting old playing the same ones all the time and need some new turf to play.

You say It's getting old playing the same courses, but I was a member of a course and just played that for a year, every round was different, course forge is coming so I wouldn't worry too much.

A 65 (-7).

My tempo was spot on all round and birdied the first five holes with putts dropping from everywhere. Had a 9 footer for a birdie on the last to force a play-off and left it a foot short. Steve Williams turned his back on me.

But that tempo. Lost my draw the last few rounds and now aiming for and hitting the middle of the fairway. That helps

That is the one thing that is different about this game in relation to Links is that every round is totally different. If we only had these six courses for next three months I would still play every day but I think what I am really saying is I would like to see something different as these courses all mirror each other. Would love a desert or florida type with some Palm trees. Either way I will keep playing as I am hooked.

A very scrappy game ... i guess starting a round of golf at 6am before having any coffee was a bad idea ... oh well, lesson learned.

Shot +4 (76). 3C swing meter. All specs set per instructions except difficulty. I played max / max because my skill level isn't there yet. Had a great Front 9. Went out with a bogey-free -3 (33). Then the wheels fell off on the Back 9 with a +7 (43) due to hitting one in the water at the Par 3 (got a 6 there) and some horrific putting on the rest. Still fun!  :D

Well we are making progress but my last round at this course for the week.  37-35=72 Even BLI 9 Stimp and 5 firm easy pins with Broken clouds.  Had to make Eagle at 18 to do it as I sank about a 40 footer with two breaks in it.  The Bli does what it is supposed to do and it is the only real way to putt but must say that when green is in the shade as I was playing around 4:00 PM that it is tough to see as it appears to be to Gray for me and in some cases I had to use the Grid to see it.  One last thing is I lost two shot that were the result of the dreaded 5 yard tee shot which has to be fixed or it will never be real.  I can take my Driver in real life and cock it to the a Parallel position at the top of the swing and just hold it there and then release the club and still get 200 yards so why when you do it in the game does it have to go 5 yards if your backswing is to slow or you stop at the top.  Just saying that this is an issue as it will need to be fixed if this game is to be great.

Thanks roysie.

Next track is going to be first day (easy pins) Championship conditions with some gusty winds. I think we are ready to see how we score at that level. It'll be Illinois if you want to go there and practice and play in the Pro-Am before the main game.

G.....Yeah, there's still some little issues that can cause a bit of frustration. We tend to live with it in golf games but it can still be annoying. I've started playing with all assists off now and generally it seems natural but occasionally - when you overswing a tiny bit and your tempo is a little bit off - the ball can go 100+ yards off course. The margin for error seems a bit too narrow in my opinion. I think I've swung it ok but the result is a bit surprising. You can't argue with physics I suppose. Nevertheless, I'll be sticking to Off/Off

Teddy I think I am going to try a round with aids off just to see. Thinking back to the 5 yard drive we just might have to live with it as it is the one protection we have from Edgeing. After further thought I said yo myself if you don't have the forward swing speed difference you could just go to the top as slow as you want and do the same coming down and hit the perfect shot each time. A better option might be a 60 to 100 yard type of worm burner or sky ball that you see in real golf. A 5 harder wont make it but you have to keep the tempo swing to keep the Edgeing out of this. When and where is the next venue as I leave for ten days on Friday and won't be playing while gone and want to get a couple rounds in to post.

After 5 rds or so at  same damn +2 score I finally got under par at -1. 3c, no aids, no gimmies, 7 fairways,10 stimp and a lot of missed putts. Disappointing still because I double bogied the 18th.
