If you haven't already noticed, current PGA event at Torrey Pines is using PWTP (Play with the Pros).  OGT Leaderboard will show PGA players and their real time hole by hole scoring.

VERY cool!

Oh man, that's always been kind of fun for me.  It's almost enough to force me back to playing events!  Although, I'd still be at the bottom of the gross leaderboard (and I suspect the pros don't have handicaps on their scores).  I'm at least going to have check it out ....

You will have a NET tour ranking and also a GROSS tour ranking.  WGR will be based on GROSS leaderboard.

As for the divisor, i think is 12 is fine.  But we'll look at it.

The divisor for most players is actually 6. Or more precise: Because many players play the JNPGA Tour and an additional tour (Mouse tour 3-click tour or controller tour), the 12 tournaments (divisor) often are played in only 6 weeks. I would like the WGR to represent a longer period of play. It certainly doesn't have to be 104 weeks like the real world ranking. But 24 tournaments (or weeks) would be better imho. It would gratify consistent play over a longer period.

But no big deal at all. Just a thought or suggestion.

I like it the way it is now  if you have a bad tourney and play more tournaments you can get rid of that bad round quicker. Also on the other hand It does allow for the good ones to get dropped quicker as well. The shorter time frame you are talking about applies more to the guys that are playing more than 1 tourney a week. I think that It more represents how a player is performing  more recently which is a good thing.....A better  gauge of  how a player is currently playing not how well he shot  24 weeks ago as in a player that chooses to play 1 tourney every other week.

Could we get some elaboration on this?

Perhaps related to this new version of PG that's coming and a different integration or something 1st party will take over that's within the game?

I'll continue playing at PGLS. I'd cut my OGT playing down to one tour only anyway, so for me personally the PC Tours closing won't have me leaping for the razor blades, lol.

Bummer. Really sad to hear this. OGT has been my main motivation for playing. Glad there are excellent tours (as well as ladders) being run at PGLS. I know a lot of people prefer multiplayer, but many can't commit time for that, and without a single-player career mode, and erratic AI, there's not much incentive otherwise.

Personally I hope this might be indicative of something first party coming to fruition in concert with the w10/xb version of the game.

Maybe Season Pass concept might get resurrected?  (hope so!)

Considering it takes a long time to get anything going in MP, I'll be hanging it up when OGT closes.  It was really the only reason I played the last 2 years.

Agreed, and it's a shame.  I got a bad feeling when reading the thread at

http://www.perfectpa...8169-sky-dunes/

Zmax and his team never got the credit they deserved from the community, myself included.  The jerks who continually complained in that and other threads because their every whim wasn't accommodated are surely to thank for this depressing development.

The complaining has been going on here in regards to the game, as far as I know, everything pertaining to OGT has been top notch.

I think the fallout about the OGT Testing has played a part (but not the sole reason).

Didn't realise the site had been running for 2 years.

OGT was the only reason i have played the game considering the slow development progress. I don't like and have the time for multiplayer and the game has no real single player mode.

Playing just solo rounds gets boring quickly. OGT got me motivated to play the game, competing with other supporters of the game.

I really hope the end of OGT has no negative impact for the game. I fear that quite a few quit playing or leaving the game without the OGT tours.

Really not good news. Any chance we all together can make Zmax to change his mind?
